I saw this doctor twice because I was suffering from recurrent corneal erosions. At best he gave me unhelpful, at worst harmful advice and treatments. The first time I saw him he told me I didn’t have to bother using the preservative free drops. On this advice I tried to use the regular ones and they burned my injured corneas terribly. He insisted I needed glasses even though my corneas were unhealed, that the eye strain was causing the erosions. I changed my glasses appointment to one to readdress the erosions because I was still having them every few nights in both eyes and it was extremely painful. On this second visit he insisted again that I need glasses. I asked him how I could get a proper prescription when my eyesight was blurry from unhealed erosions, and he said that won’t matter. He told me to use an over the counter ointment that was not preservative free that again burned my injured eyes. This was the last straw for me and I found a new eye doctor. This man set me back a month in figuring out an actual treatment for my RCE. My new eye doctor has been extremely helpful, on the first visit he immediately made sure to use a fluorescent dye to see the extent of my erosions, something Dr. Dagher never did despite how much pain I told him I was in. (Turns out I had one of the largest erosions he’d ever seen.) At this point I’m seeing a corneal specialist to deal with my RCE because it is so severe and not responding to conservative treatments. I shudder to think of the agony I’d still be in if I had trusted dr. Dagher, and how I’d still be no closer to a resolution to this terrible pain. Please do not see this man if you’re having eye problems. He just wants to sell glasses and can’t be trusted.

Terrible in talking to patient
Wanted to fix cataract on right ,I finally convinced him the left needed addressed first after that was done he treated me for glaucoma. Bringing me back every two months for year . Made another pair of glasses that I still couldn’t see out of my right eye. I expressed that they were not right. He said that I had to save some sight for other people

Rude
First off. My mother went to this man on 8-4-22. For a contact lens exam, quoted 87.00 since she has had contacts before. Get there. Girl at the desk refused to run her Medicare insurance. Then Dr Daeger not only told her she was blind, that she didn’t take care of herself, he talked over her, raised his voice, and degraded her, she left the appointment in tears, he shouldn’t be practicing medicine of any kind! Plus he won’t give her contacts prescription without her buying glasses from his office. Now they state she never got fitted for contacts that she requested glasses. She stated more than once she wanted contacts and refuses to release the prescription to another eye Doctor! I don’t know how he has remained in business for this long!

Being a doctor should have never been a pick of a career. He is rude and puts his hands on some people jerking them around in his office. He will end up losing his license and end up in jail. There is many bad doctors in the area. He has no right in being corrupted or mean to people.

Had an appointment with Dr. Dagher on 4/21. He threw me out of the office because I asked him to run my appointment thru on my PEIA insurance. Told me it was illegal to do so and that I would have to go elsewhere. Will NEVER recommend him. Am filing a complaint with the Board of Opthomology.
