Dr. Gigi Kwok, MD

I recently attended my annual check-up with Dr. Kwok and it was the most disheartening experience I have ever had with a healthcare professional. I left the appointment in tears due to her blatant disrespect, disregard for my concerns, and condescending remarks. I am greatly disappointed at the lack of basic courtesy and respect from Dr. Kwok. I've been a patient of Dr. Kwok for 8 years or more. While she has never been overly chatty or exceptionally friendly, I initially appreciated her thorough approach to addressing medical concerns. However, over the past couple of years, I've noticed a shift in her demeanor and I have observed a steady decline in her bedside manner. Despite Dr. Kwok's medical proficiency, her inability to connect with patients and her disrespectful attitude are reasons why I will not return to her care.

I was shocked to see any negative reviews regarding Dr. Kwok. I have had nothing but very positive experiences with her. She pays attention to the details and is always on point with diagnosis and treatment. I think she is excellent!

She is friendly but doesn’t seem engaged or caring about concerns and also rushes out very quickly without saying goodbye. She stared at my upper arm for half the visit to the point where I felt very uncomfortable, but there was nothing on my arm? She gave me no concern or advice on my low libido, but she did have the checkout desk give me a handout about it. The “care instructions” included taking warm baths and finding non sexual ways to be intimate. Very dismissive and demeaning as a woman

This is my first review of an individual doctor ever and I’m doing this only because I can’t stand her condescending attitudes, lack of concern for her PATIENTS and overall UNPROFESSIONALISM. I took my wife to see Dr Kwok for the third time today, only because we gave her the benefit of the doubt that she was rude to us the first two times because she was too busy. After today, we decided that that’s just the way she is. We’re never going back again! Steer clear of Dr Kwok!

I am very disappointed with the lack of concern that this doctor has. I reached out to her because my insurance denied my claim due to insufficient information and they had requested she fax them the paperwork for my case. She refused to do anything else to help me. The insurance company even said that it was a simple task and not sure why a doctor would refuse getting treatment for any patient because of a simple letter. I will NEVER recommend her to anyone. She has no compassion.

Unprofessional and doesn’t listen.

I don't frequently leave reviews but I felt this was necessary. - I've seen Dr. Kwok 3 times and I will not be returning. First of all, her secretary is very rude. I book an appointment 1 week in advance, the day of my appointment I receive a phone call from the secretary asking me to come in earlier so she could get off early. I told her I was unable to do that. The secretary then gave me an attitude and told me I should schedule another day. Dr. Kwok is a little bit un-involved. 1 out of 5
