I had both hips replaced for advanced arthritis in 2022 by Dr Roc and his great team. I had one hip done, then six weeks later, the other. One was a breeze, the last had pain complications not due to anything going wrong with surgery but with my muscles and tendons not rebounding as quickly. The first surgery was as if a magic wand had been waved over me. Miraculous! Minimal pain, quick recovery. The second was opposite that. Lots of pain, slower recovery, longer in a walker. The key was having great PT and their encouragement that it takes time and persistent work. It did and several weeks later I was pain free and had two perfectly working hips. It’s now been two years and I cannot say enough good about Dr Roc and his excellent team. I am 70 years old, I work in healthcare, walk for 12 hours a day, and have never felt better. The surgery even solved about 60% of my back pain. I stand and walk straight and have continued to improve my strength and stamina. Do not hesitate!

Dr. Roc Rocks! I had a total knee replacement late October of 2019 and was back doing most normal activities within 6 weeks. By early January I was swimming with Whale Sharks in the Sea of Cortez.

I can't say enough about Dr. Roc and his team. They gave me TWO new hips (at the same time). Dr. Roc is the only person (so I'm told) at Kaiser Sunset that does hip replacement surgery in the front, versus the back. The recovery time is shorter. Not only did I walk out of there the same day, my recovery was manageable and I can't thank him enough that he took the challenge to do both hips at the same time.
