Dr. Gilberto Heredia, MD

He is one of the few PCP's I've seen (and there have been many) that I truly admire. He listens intently, and responds thoroughly. Very friendly. I highly recommend him as a PCP.

Recently moved to Albuquerque and needed a new Primary Care Physician. Luckily I was recommended to Dr. Heredia. Absolutely the best physician I have ever had in my 70 years! He's extremely knowledgeable, up-to-date with new medicines and therapies, very patient and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Dr. Heredia. You won't find a better doctor in town.

I have been bouncing around in the past few years trying to find a doctor to be my PCP with no success but UHC has recommended me to Optum health care and luckily i was connected with doctor Heredia who is patiently caring and well listening then providing with expertised opinions. He is a true professional and very pleasant to talk to. I am so happy to have him in my corner from now on for any medical needs

This country is in a healthcare crisis, brought on by corporate medicine. I was passed around to 5 different practitioners in 3 years to finally find an Optum doctor I can trust with my health. Dr Heredia listens, cares, and takes the time he needs with his patients. It's not the 'corporate' way, to spend more than 15 minutes with a patient, so I know I'm getting the attention I need at my age, with a doctor who cares about people! Now that I've found Dr Heredia, I'm assured I'll have continuity of care, and as long as Dr Heredia is with Optum, I will be an Optum patient.

Dr Heredia is an excellent Doctor and a Truly wonderful man. You can count on him!!

I have seen Dr. Heredia as an urgent care patient. I find him and his staff very professional providing top notch medical care. My only complaints are the LOUD TV in the waiting room and the office closed very early at 4PM making it difficult for me to get there since I am disabled and sleep most of the day. I am sorry to hear that office is closing since it provided an important need in this city's health care!

Dr. Heredia Is one of the best of the best Dr's I've ever worked with. he is knowledgeable with your diagnosis and he works out the best individual treatment plan for you. He is known by all of the other doctor here in Alamogordo for a referral basis so your in the best care with Dr Heredia as your primary care Physician. Thank you Doc you have made a really "Big" difference in my health care! You're the best of the best! Silly to say," You're stuck with me and have me for the rest of my life"!

Dr.Heredia is a good listening Dr. and explains things, onthe other hand his staff is rude,do not do their jobs and will tell the patient anything ,especially concerning calling in your prescriptions. He needs better more friendly staff !

Dr. Heredia is an outstanding doctor. He cares for each patient and listens to what they say. He exhibits a high degree of professional knowledge and expertise but does not hesitate to look for outside answers and options when treating patients.
