Dr. Gina Horne, DO

Physician needs to listen to her patients and actually go through a diagnostic process. Basic care. I wouldn’t trust anyone in this woman’s care. Anyone who see’s her, in my opinion, should re-evaluate.

I worked with Dr Horne for a few years. She's friendly and pleasant enough but struggled to keep up with my situation, which was complex, and wasn't able to accept or respect any information or thoughts from me. She failed to test some things and missed some low levels that ended up causing issues, although thankfully it resolved without permanent damage. She also didn't properly manage my cardiac risk and just never seemed to think that hard about my case or believe that I ever needed anything. Anyway, I had a bunch of tumors and was in the early stages of cancer. She did a great job of treating me like I was anxious and did absolutely nothing exactly delay my care further and make it all harder and more stressful.If all you need is a basic check up and your health is pretty good, she's probably fine. But if your situation is complex, you can rapidly outpace her ability in my experience. I found it pointless to continue with her.

Dr. Horne is such a great doctor. Very engaged, caring and responsive to her patient's needs. Akron's loss is definitely Broadview Heights' gain. She will be sorely missed by this patient. The very best of luck to you in your new endeavors!

Dr. Horne and her staff are wonderful. Ever since Summa has changed to a centralized call system it has become impossible to talk to her or her staff. The new system Summa is using is horrible.

Terrible experiences with this Dr. She said nothing was wrong with me whenever I came in complaining of pain. When I asked for referrals she would get upset with me asking why?! She also told me " I don't help people get on ssi" she told me this because I told her that I was applying for SSI for my disabilities and pain. I am happy she does not help individuals get on SSI because if she had it her way I would not be receiving SSI for my disabilities now. I've been diagnosed by a rheumatologist.

I like whenever I need to see Dr. Horne. She listens to me as her patient and actually cares.

I used to work for this doctor and she was also my doctor. Great doctor. Very nice, listened, explained so you could understand. Great with her time. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Horne has been my PCP for six years. She is very efficient with a pleasant bedside manner;she listens to you. I love her no nonsense demeanor. Dr. Horne is very straightforward. I am very satisfied with her.

She listens to what you have to say, She is a professional but she has empathy. She is easy to talk to. She makes you feel at ease & will work with you to get to the bottom of whatever problem you have. She not only cares about your physical issues for she cares about you all around. She is my favorite physician. As long as she remains in practice she will remain my PC.
