She seemed to come into the appointment with no knowledge of why I was there. Gave me false information about abortion access in the area. Did not make me feel respected.

Dr. Pickle was seeing me as a patient during pregnancy. Mid-way through, my family and I decided to switch to midwifery care for home birth purposes. This decision was very personal, and very serious for my husband and I - we did not take outside counsel - we focused on what we wanted to experience for the birth of our child. Once we decided to switch care, I called TGFW and informed that I would no longer need future appointments during my pregnancy, and asked to pay any outstanding balances. Over a year after giving birth I finally made an appointment to have myself checked on, and Dr. Pirkle discharged me from her care because she no longer trusts me. She advised me that she does not support home birth - and she did not have the opportunity to counsel me out of having one. I apologized sincerely, however, she still discharged me. It seemed very personal. I won’t recommend her. I just cannot after the last experience I had with her.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Pirkle since we were 3 months pregnant now at 7 1/2 months we are so grateful things worked out the way they did. She is by far meant to be a doctor besides all the knowledge and compassion she holds it’s her energy that makes me most blessed to have found her. She has drawn us pictures to help explain the process, she’s literally cheered with me in the room after crossing a milestone. Even with my husband having to be on FaceTime she still connects with him by looking directly into the camera and remembering him by name. The most important thing she’s the same every visit!!!

The BEST OBGYN office in the area, hands down! Dr. Pirkle is patient, caring, and compassionate. I could not ask for a better provider. Not only that, but the staff is so kind and warm. They are always willing to work with my schedule so that I can be seen as soon as possible.

She listens to my concerns and works with me to find answers to my problems. Also, during pelvic exams she makes me feel very comfortable and she is real gentle.

She wrote me off and didn't listen or show concern with my problems. Instead of assisting me with my problem and working around it she wanted to just prescribe me medication. I'm pregnant and medication risks aren't worth it to me. That didn't seem to matter.
