Dr. Girish Munavalli, MD

My husband was referred for a bleeding spot on the left side of his nose in the crease. After surgery, the bleeding spot was still there and surgery had been done on the top of his nose. And had to have a 2nd procedure to "smooth" off the scar. He has been now referred to another dermatologist. I am considering suing Dr. Munavalli.

I had cancer on my tip/top of my nose. I had the MOHS surgery done 3 years ago February 2018 on my nose where he had to cut out the cancer and then rebuild my nose. I had many stitches on top and inside. Dr. Munavalli did an amazing job and I can't even tell I had any surgery done on my nose now. I have to tell people that I had a large section cut off my nose. I liked him so much I referred my husband to him and had to have surgery on his nose and forehead for cancer as well. I would recommend him to anyone I know. He has done the best job I have scene my family has a lot of skin cancer issues.

Outstanding patient services and care!! Dr. Munavalli and his entire staff and practice are top notch, with a state of the art facility. Attention to detail and patient concerns are exceptional. After visiting 3 other Dermatologists in the area, I am completely satisfied with the services and care that I always receive from Dermatology, Laser & Vein Specialist. They truly know and care about what services they are providing.

My experience with Dr Munavalli was wonderful. He performed subscision on my cheeks for scaring and I was more than happy with the results. I found him to be a very caring physician. I asked many questions during the consultation and he explained everything to my satisfaction, letting me know what I could expect I have to say his nurse was so nice and also answered my many questions to her. I felt the cost were very reasonable. I was quoted a price and that is what I was charged. There were no hidden fees. Just the amount quoted. The whole experience was definitely a good one.

I was there with my dad who was 95 to remove an eraser size skin cancer spot. They did MOHS surgery and removed the entire left side of his nose into the cartilages forcing us to find a plastic surgeon to have extensive work on my dad. He's was 95! They DID NOT discuss with us at all that they had planned to remove the left side of his nose! and to endure this severe surgery and pain. AWFUL! Needs to be put under the jail for such action. After over 3 and half hours of having to rebuild his nose, he never recovered to his normal self.

I would not recommend this provider. I do not think this practice is a trustworthy practice. My experience has been that they hide fees for services and are not forthcoming with all the costs that will be incurred for a procedure. Also after checking with my insurance company they charge exorbitantly higher fees for same services elsewhere, and I believe charge for follow up service to a procedure that should be part of the original total cost of the procedure. My overall sense of the practice and practitioners is that they are intent to glean as much from one patient as possible, in other words I think they are money hungry and don’t really care about the patients or the outcomes, Very disappointed.

Dr. Munavalli did a bad job with my procedure. Left scars on my face and don't care about fixing them. Very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. I came out of his office crying with they way he treated me. I would not recommend to others.

The best in Charlotte hands down! I was a referred to him from a previous Dermatologist I went to for treatment. Highly recommend this office!

almost a year after the laser procedure still have scars on leg. also must still wear supports every day! horrible results and poor treatment of patients.

I saw Dr. Munavalli for a patch of melanoma on my forehead. He was incredibly caring & skilled. Truly talented. He was very concerned with my comfort; And He kept me informed throughout my procedure. His office was helpful & diligent regarding follow- up visits. I would not consider seeing another dermatologist.

Dr. Munavali is very knowledgeable and personable. I’ve never had a bad experience in his office. Definitely a high class office.

Dr. Munavalli was great! He made me feel comfortable right away and has dramatically improved both my aging skin and my varicose veins.
