This Practise iIs Horrible
I have been a patient of this doctor since March 2022. When I first met with the doctor , I was advised that they were going to get to the bottom of my medical needs. This is never happened. I was provided a nerve conduction study. They try to make it seem like it’s minimal and it’s not they force me to see us therapist, which I am still trying to figure out how can a therapist tell a doctor that bad body is in need of pain management. I have had visits that nothing was done. I fell and advise them and yet no one has still yet done anything to help me I was put on medication that has caused me, side effects of dark stool with mucus like Contant nausea and blurred vision. I called this location on numerous occasions and yet the voicemail always reads always says please do not leave multiple messages. I have not yet once received a return call from the West Columbia office, when expressing my concerns about the neglect of my care , the nurse practitioner basically talked over me., the nu

I went to this place called " back to wellness" 4 months ago and had to stop for financial reasons and made an appointment to go back. A new pa was there. And what an eye opener. She told me unless I went to physical therapy and had injections in my back and had a nerve conduction test they would not resume my meds. I'm 61 and my back is plain shot out with scoliosis and degenerative disc disease and bulging discs from years of hard work. I ve had all those tests many many times and told her this. Never even saw the doctor. I'm not going to be forced to do unnecessary tests and shots that don't do anything so they can bilk my insurance company. Beware folks.

This doctor never examined me or even considered another diagnosis. Her P.A. falsified my records claiming l had an exam and was doing well on exercises & current meds. WHAT MEDS?I had no exercises. They refused to prescribe me anything for pain for 7 months & then insisted on doing injections in my spine. I told them l was allergic to steroids & was assured l would not get them. After the last two injections l became very ill and had severe headaches, dizziness, muscle weakness and insomnia.I finally got Tramadol which didn't help at all. I learned from my insurance carrier that l had been injected with steroids TWICE! When l brought up the steroid error, the P.A. sent in her bully office manager to dismiss me. I later learned this doc has two previous medical board reprimands and one currently under investigation. She's ruined my health since l have severe osteoporosis made worse by steroids. I wish someone had warned me how incompetent this practice is.

Terrible! I can’t even begin to list all the reasons why and how. Let me first say that I thought this was a pain doctor and not a pain medicine addiction doctor. I went here after living with moderate to severe pain for over 20 years and have never had a drug or alcohol problem. I saw Chad (I’m assuming he’s a PA). He prescribed me meds that have major interactions with my current meds and even with the ones he’s prescribed-I think he may have been trying to k1ll me. Anyway, immediately switched doctors after I felt care was not sufficient and met my new doctor that pointed out the drug interactions. Oh, and they only provide injections for back and neck pain in Colombia office (well why have an office in Fort Mill?). Was told that perhaps if my migraines got under control that my neck pain could get better…I told him he had that reversed.

Well, I would like to make this a short story but don't know if that's possible. But without getting into alot of personal information. DO NOT BY ANY MEANS go to this office. Your concerns won't be met. And your health is NOT A priority!! Please don't put your pain management in this offices hands. I am beyond disappointed with this office. I have filed a grievances with the medical authorities. And didn't even know till I seen the picture above I have never seen this doctor obviously I've been seen by the nurse practioner. What a complete mess. Just please find someone else to be your pain doctor.

Constant issues with administrative tasks. Appointments dropped or misdirected. Running 1Hr to 1 1/2hrs behind. In spite of the legal issues of the past, this practice ran far better when it was under ownership of Pain Management. Forget calling. They NEVER anser the phone and the message function is always full. This is the worst run medical practice I’ve ever experienced.

This is one of the worst doctors I’ve ever been to. Alll she cares about is your payment when u walk in and your urine drug test and doesn’t even see u most of the time just has a script waiting on u. I had an appointment Friday same day I ran out of meds. Her office was even closed but had scheduled me for 7:45am they had me leave a urine drug screen and said they would call me by 12. I never got a call and went without my meds for 4 days. I may be staying off the meds which means I’ll be sick on a beach trip I have this week. Her staff never called me just had a robo call that said I have an appointment Tuesday in the afternoon with the counselor there. How can a doctor that cares about her patients just let u run out of meds and not care?

I have seen Dr. Girault for years now for pain management and she is THE BEST! Wonderful with injections and helping devise a plan. I wanted to let people know those bad reviews from the past year coincide with Dr. Girault taking over operations at the office. The prior records were not available and she had to start from scratch for each patient, building a medical history as there was nothing available.

AWFUL!!!!! Show up before your appointment time and not seen for 2 hours!!! And then has the audacity to send me a text message saying I missed my appointment and to call to reschedule!!!! And that I would be charged—no I won’t be charged and both my insurances are already aware. I have never met Dr. Girault and from the way her staff relayed information from her I don’t want to meet her. I realize she has taken over from the previous pain management facility but what gives her the right or where how to reduce my pain meds by more than half??? Does she even know what my pain level is each day—to bad she can’t be in my shoes for an hour—she would be screaming!!!! I am NOT going to return to her next month—will find a doctor that cares. P.S. I am NOT drug dependent just ask my husband.

She was rude and uncaring and somewhat aloof. She was more interested in getting my co-pay and a urine sample than what was bothering me. At 65, she not only insulted me, but my intelligence as well. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SEEING THIS CONDESCENDING JOKE OF A PHYSICIAN! IS THERE A ZERO RATING?

I had the worst experience ever. I went to this doctor because my previous pain management office closed and she took over the patients. I waited an hour and half to be seen and did not get my pain medication. To top it off, I never saw Dr. Girault, all this was relayed to me through her medical staff and not her. Her practice is only concerned with co pays, she has no compassion for her patients. I had been with my previous pain management clinic for over a year and a half. Thank God, I found a better pain management clinic. If I could give her 0 stars I would. Please do not go to Dr. Girault, find someone who is genuinely concerned with your pain and not about just having alot if patients and making money.

She rarely ever sees her patients and just has the prescriptions ready each month. Never asks how you're feeling. She thinks she is above reproach and none of her patients would say anything bad about her as long as they're getting the drugs she's "pushing." She gives no advice about your pain at all. Your appointment will be broken and gets her staff to lie saying the computers are down, etc.

I was reading reviews and doing more research before my upcoming procedure with Dr. Girault. So many negative reviews, so I had to note my experience. I'm very picky and have had horrible experiences with doctors but she's the first in a while that broke down what my condition was in plain terms. I wasn't rushed and she asked several times was I clear on what she was going to do and she offered suggestions on how to strengthen my back. Look forward to working with her.

Dr. Girault and her entire staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I received my first treatment from her several years ago via MD referral. Over the past few weeks, I have returned and received additional treatment. I would highly recommend her. Her new office location is spacious and beautiful.

Dr. Girault was extremely unprofessional and very rude. She wasn't open to my feedback on the change of my medication and humilated and belittled me. She went as far as saying "if you don't like your pain management plan, you're more than welcome to leave". As a professional, I would have expected her to have a better delivery or better way to convey that message. I appreciate her being rude because she's definitely lost me as a patient. I would NOT recommend her to anyone!

Do not go here, two months later we still do not have an appointment. Dr. Girault has still not read the H&P and will not see the patient until she has done so. My Mom is going without pain medication because she is too busy to read through the documents that were sent to her, Dr. Elizabeth LeBel referred her and they have dropped the ball big time. This is not a Doctor that is all for the Patient, she does not care that my Mom is out of her pain medication.

Dr. G, from the first appointment was AMAZING!!! Her introduction, to her carefully taking the time to explain every detail of her pain management plan as well as play by play of how my pain management procedure would take place. She was confident, very knowledgeable and compassionate and caring for me. As a Combat Veteran, I am so glad the VA made he service available me, and to better facilitate my need. RLTW!!!!!
