Unhelpful, despite obvious diagnosis
Knee replacement needed due to severe arthritis / torn meniscus identical to other knee replaced in recent past. Symptoms identical in every way. Dr Chemaly refused orthopedic consult twice claiming it was probably muscular and could be treated with therapy. Therapist was perplexed, noting knee needed MRI and Orthopedic evaluation, not therapy. Chemaly was non-responsive, so I went to outside doctor who handled it properly, ending in replacement. Final straw was later I tore my rotator cuff and couldn't lift my arm for months. Contacted Dr Chemaly who recommended YouTube exercise video's rather than orthopedic consult! I haven't been back. I went to outside orthopedist again who determined the ligament was completely detached and needed to be surgically sewn back to shoulder. Chemaly is not a serious doctor. Doesn't care about the facts or proper diagnosis. Don't trust her judgement.

Curt and unprofessional medical provider. Fails to renew medication prescriptions without repeated reminders. Neglectful delay in updating medical records for over 3 years, and extremely intransigent after repeated requests to do so. very difficult to work with.
