Dr. Gordon Gluckman, MD

When I found out that I had multiple kidney stones in both kidneys I didn’t know which Urologist to pick, after doing some research online I am so glad I choose Dr. Gluckman. I have had 2 procedures done and both went very well. He is easy to talk to, compassionate, explained everything in detail, and listened to all my concerns. I highly recommend him.

Had a vasectomy. Complained of prolonged post Op pain. Was seen, and pain was dismissed. My wife got pregnant 3 months later. Went to him for answers. He basically said the procedure was a success and I was sterile, so there must be "another explanation for how my wife got pregnant". Well, wife didn't like that answer, and insisted on a paternity test to prove her fidelity. Guess what Doc? Your procedure failed, paternity test proven. He ghosted me after I found out and tried to schedule with him again. I wouldn't trade my daughter for anything, but this Doc not only failed medically, he nearly ended an otherwise wonderful marriage. Oh, and I still get random pains down there. AVOID!

Can’t say enough good things about Dr Gluckman. Both my husband and I have been seen by him several times and appreciate his medical expertise and awesome demeanor. He has a wonderful way of explaining everything and always putting you at ease. Best urologist and we highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Gluckman!

At the end of mlb season, they award the best defensive players the Golden Glove Award. Dr. Gordon Gluckman should be awarded the Golden Cystoscopy of the year. I had to see Dr. Gluckman because I had an overactive bladder. My bladder and prostate were enlarged, and there was so much pressure pushing on them. I’d try to urinate but it took five minutes for anything to come out, plus it was very painful. I only had a weak stream coming out. After my cystoscopy I felt like a new man. I’m able to urinate immediately with a full stream, and I no longer feel any pressure in my bladder. Dr. Gluckman has an amazing bedside manner not to mention a great personality. When he explains something, he does it in Layman’s terms. If you experience any of the symptoms I just described, please contact Dr. Gluckman immediately. I can’t wait to see him getting the Golden Cystoscopy Award, for Urologist of the year.

Dr. Gordon Gluckman is an excellent Urologist and I would highly recommend him to all my friends and family. I had a mass on my right kidney and he took the time to explain my situation and all of my options and outcomes. He was very kind and patient when speaking with me and my family. On the day of my surgery he again explained the process and made me and my family feel at ease. I never doubted that I was in excellent hands with Dr. Gluckman.

Dr. Gluckman and his staff are extraordinary.I want to thank them for showing me such care.I only wish I had gone to see Dr. Gluckman sooner than I did.I suffered greatly for a long time with BPH along with all of its horrible side effects.Dr. Gluckman performed a procedure called TURP. I can now say that after the surgery life is good again, so once more I say from the heart, thank you Dr. Gluckman for taking care of me.

Dr. Gluckman treated me as well as any doctor can during a tough crisis. He communicated my condition and provided me the available options. He was trustworthy and explained everything perfectly. He did a fantastic job with my condition and with my surgery. I would absolutely recommend him for any urological needs you may have.

When it was discovered that I had an agressive cancer in my prostate, Dr. Gluckman was recommended by my regular urologist. He was especially good presenting the options, answering questions and discussing matters with my wife and me. The prostatectomy was performed with the necessary precision to allow for an excellent recovery. I have been making steady progress. His sensitivity to how a guy feels about having surgery in such a delicate part of the male body has been especially good, and much appreciated.

Dr. Gluckman is amazing! He compassionately explained my kidney cancer, stage, tumor size, and all the medical complications of removing a kidney/tumor. Dr. Gluckman personally explained his well planned procedure customized specifically to me, and what I could expect post-op. He removed my kidney, tumor, adrenal glands and lymph nodes. Dr. Gluckman was recommended to me by my regular doctor. Very grateful he recommended Dr Gluckman. Not only is he a very skilled surgeon but a very, very, fine person. I had a cancerous tumor on one of my kidneys. A partial nephrectomy had to be done Due to its location the surgery was going to be major and complex. Took plenty of time to explain, then answer all questions and ease my anxiety. Surgery went well with little post op pain. Office staff friendly. Thanks for your help Kaitlin !

excellent surgeon -removed cancerous kidney - very caring doctor

As an 80 year old undergoing major open surgery (full nephrectomy) I was nervous and had many questions. Dr Gluckman spent as much time as I needed to explain my condition, review various options and explain exactly what the next steps would be. I can honestly say that the entire surgery process was much easier than I anticipated. Pain was kept at a minimum with medications and epidural, and I am recovering easily and fully. I would recommend Dr Gluckman to anyone in need of a urologist.

He is completely unable to work with young people who have a volatile work schedule. He takes his absolute time to make a diagnosis and discharges you from the practice and says that you are not being cooperative with your treatment if miss appointments due to work. It really sucks that his practice dominates the whole urology market so now I have to go untreated because every urologist in the county is in his practice

I have been treated twice by Dr. Gluckman over the past 7 years for separate situations - both which required surgery. I can say with 100% confidence that Dr. Gluckman is one of if not the best in his field. From every step of his pre and then post procedure manners, I felt so at ease under his care. If you have any urological procedures requiring attention, I cannot stress enough how great Dr. Gluckman will treat all patients as he did with me!

Dr. Gluckman was recommended to me by chance by a car salesman who was very happy after his procedure, so I gave him a try, and I was not disappointed. Very patient, down-to-Earth (not all doctors are), and very knowledgeable. He listens and answers questions, and he even calls back to answer my questions in detail - get this from every doctor. :-) I am glad I found him.

Started seeing Dr Gluckman 3 years ago. On the first visit I knew he was a keeper. Had a TUVP done after he explained all my options. You know a surgeon is great when there are no complications and you don't feel beat up post surgery. I could have gone anywhere to get this done because I am lucky enough to have great insurance. I stuck with Dr Gluckman and it was one of the best decisions I ever made

My association with Dr. Gluckman started about two years ago. He and I took a conservative approach to prostate enlargement treatment. Recently things turned for the worst so we discussed surgical options and decided on the TURP procedure. The surgery went well, Lutheran General Hospital was totally accommodating since I have a hearing loss and needed an ASL interpreter. Recovery is going smoothly. This is a compassionate doctor who can be totally trusted.

I was referred to Dr.Gluckman by my primary doctor. As soon as I met him I felt very comfortable, and at ease. It turned out I needed surgery, which was explained to me in easy to understand terms. My surgery went exactly the way he described. My only wish is that I had met him sooner. I will recommend Dr. Gluckman to others I know, and encourage them to not wait.
