Thank you from the bottom of my heart
I’m choking up writing this. I am the mother of a young single mother who I watched in horrible pain for 8 years and go through 4 surgeries in that time. The surgery you did that stabilized her spine changed all our lives. You told us you couldn’t guarantee anything but that you would do your best to fix her, you were humble with your words but confident in your eyes. She can play with her baby. I mailed the picture to your office. God bless you and your family and all your helpers.

I just want to thank Dr. Ty for helping me out with my low back pain. I have had it for years and although he referred me out for PT, I returned after that failed and after my procedure, I am feeling great. Thank you Dr. Ty.

Worst patient care! I had spine surgery by Dr. Thai. He said I had to pay before my surgery because he didn’t want to bill my insurance. I had to pay $17,550 before my surgery. I have never heard of such a thing. All he care about is making money.

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Ty and his beautiful medical center. I recently had a surgery (at the surgery center-which is equally well staffed and beautiful) The office manager Erick was so kind even though I had to schedule and reschedule last minute-3 times in one day. They were incredible accommodating and I was able to leave with all the paperwork I needed to return to work. I will be back for follow-ups and actually look forward to seeing my spine support squad!

I am very grateful to Dr. Ty. On July 31st of this month, he performed a surgery called Lumbar Micro-discectomy (LMD) for disc herniation. Soon after, I was completely pain free. I was able to walk out of the surgery center two hours after he surgery was performed. He is kind caring and more importantly, a very competent surgeon. Many thanks.

He is a life saver, suddenly I wasnt able to walk at all with excruciating pain my back, Dr.Ty (Thaiyananthan) find the root cause in the way I sat in front of him (thats experience) & he got it fixed with just an SIJ injection instead of a surgery what other doctor told. Its hard to get appointment right away for the visit & also for the procedure which could've saved me from 2 weeks of unnecessary pain, but I understand how busy good doctors must be.

I researched the qualifications, residency, fellowship, and recommendations from other neurosurgeons to see Dr Thaiyananthan regarding severe lower back pain. He reconfirmed the MRI results on the monitor along with Radiologists comments and gave his diagnose in very clear and professional manner. He listens very attentively and offered all the possible course of action keeping the interest of patient foremost . I was so happy to see a neurosurgeon who treats you like a family member.

Such a pleasant visit with Dr.Ty. He takes his time answering my endless list of questions and never felt rushed. He is very detailed with his answers and I am thankful for his kindness. He is a very smart man. He accurately pin pointed where my pain was and I had my treatment done immediately thanks to his staffs. I'm pain free and very happy. Thank you Monica, and Tammie for getting me scheduled so quickly. Best staffs with the best doctor.

Dr. Ty is one of those rare and amazing people that are hard to find in OC. I went to see him because my friend had surgery with him in Irvine and she went home the same day and was jogging in about 2 months. I had an epidural injection and then a foraminotomy procedure. I had no stitches to take out and 4 weeks later I'm waiting to cleared for activities which I think I ready for but didn't want to do until he cleared me. I love you Dr. Ty

Dr. Ty is a wonderful physician! Compassionate and highly skilled. My husband had intractable sciatica that shot down his leg. He had failed therapy, epidurals, and even surgery. Dr. Ty came up with the possibility of a stem cell injection. This was a cutting edge technology. I felt relief within a few days! No hospitalization. I am very happy!

I love Dr. Ty. I was told I needed a multi-level lumbar fusion by a Hoag spine specialist. I ended up getting a one level microdiscectomy procedure in Irvine. I left the same day and now 2 months later I feel almost back to 100%. I highly recommend Dr. Ty and BASIC and their staff including Monica! Thank you so much!

Dr. Ty did my minimally invasive lumbar disc surgery. After I awoke from anesthesia, my pain was gone immediately. He is a miracle worker. The staff and facilities at the center was top notch. I have had good care at Hoag and Mission. However, what Dr. Ty and his staff provided to me blew me away. I would recommend him highly to anyone!

I was having neck issues. By looking at my MRI and going over my symptoms Dr. Ty was able to give me my options. I was scared to have surgery, but him and his staff made me feel at ease. They kept me informed step by step of what to expect. Everyone from the receptionist to the MA were kind and caring. I'm 8 weeks past surgery and feeling great! Thanks to Dr. Ty and the staff for all your GREAT work. I will be forever THANKFUL.
