10 out of 10.
Second time seeing Dr Ching after having another ARC clinic close to me cancel at the last minute. Great doctor. Doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable at all. Even though this clinic is a little further from home I will always come back here to see Dr Ching.

When she asked if I’ve been having any problems or if I had any questions during my annual exam, I thought she was being an attentive doctor. Now it seems it was a trick and I fell for it. There’s a sign in the room that says additional medical problems would require separate appointments and would not be dealt with during a physical exam. I’ve come here before, and that sign is new. We even made a joke about it! I thought if I somehow overstepped, she’d just tell me I needed to make another appointment to address it. Instead, she double billed me for 2 appointments. I thought there was a mistake when I was billed for a regular office visit at the same date and time as my annual exam. When I spoke to the billing department, and was told they intentionally billed me for two appointments in one, I asked how I could’ve possibly avoided this additional charge when the doctor asked me if I had any concerns? Was I supposed to lie to the doctor? The guy at the billing department actually said “yeah!” what kind of place is this that they tell people to lie to the doctors about their health and conceal problems!? I was also told I should’ve called my insurance ahead of time to find out what I cannot say to the doctor during an annual exam to avoid an additional charge. So for asking if I should be concerned that sometimes at night I wake up & my hand is numb, I was charged an additional office visit, which would yield a pay rate of about $100/min just to tell me I probably have it at an awkward angle when I’m sleeping and it’s nothing to worry about. I’ve never in my entire life had a doctor pull anything this sleazy. The billing department says to contact the "care team" and they say to contact the billing department. They're very comfortable ping ponging patients back and forth for a month and a half while of course the doctor herself stays out of it. If you don’t want to wind up with a surprise double charge, lie and deny! When she asks you if you have any problems or questions, plead the fifth!
