Like the review from Jul 22, 2021, I also saw Lee as a pediatric patient. Had severe IBS-C from birth, w/ multiple hospitalizations. Was labeled with functional abdominal pain and constipation and told to try therapy and antidepressants (both of which I had already been doing at the time for years). She did however prescribe Amitiza, which helped a ton. MichMed has a similar issue throughout all departments, so it's not just Lee-- I just wish she'd understand that labelling something functional without doing tests and prescribing therapy seems very dismissive and is very upsetting.

A medical student first saw my daughter and she was amazing. Did a great job explaining different conditions and asked a multitude of questions. Dr. Lee labeled my daughter functional abdominal pain and offered suggestions of therapy, accupuncture, and other alternate medicines. Could not give us a reason for daughter's issues which we later learned were due to a different medical condition. Very unhappy that we travelled several hours away from home.
