Very poor communication and arbitrary decisions
Dr. Glass denied a refill of a prescription with no stated reason. A follow up call by myself was answered with a telehealth appointment three weeks later. So almost a month without that medication. No alternatives, no recommendations on how to modify anything to deal with the lack of that medication.Called again and was told by a nurse that the medication is no longer being prescribed because of an increase in a chance of blindness. I looked it up and found several articles on some medical and news websites that stated there is an increase chance: from 0.0002% to 0.0008%. From 2 out of 100,000 to 8 out of a 100,000.Have a refill denied with no explanation was bad enough, but for a reason like this is just frustrating. Going to find a new doctor who actually communicates with their patients.

In the beginning, it was quick and easy. His hostility to United Healthcare was obvious, and their decision to only reimburse the group a smaller amount for in house tests as opposed to sending them to a preferred lab made it even worse. The fact he referred us to testing center that would not take insurance in a shady part of town with a huge Jerry Springer like sign offering paternity testing shows how much he hates UHC. Too bad, since he is losing two customers.

This guy is no better than the termite guy on tv, Oh I'm not here to cure anything , I'm just here to charge insurance and send you to someone else that can help you. Can't prescribe pain drugs , leaves you hanging with no help, runs test and doesn't ever cover them with you, then when you get put on medicare , says oh we don't accept medicare. Seen him a week ago (8-29-2016) he told me face to face that he would take my medicare until the first of the year, then a week later canceled me
