After gall bladder surgery, sent us home with sepsis - which is serious!! Admitted to hospital again with infectious disease. ?. When mentioned this to him, he said it only happens to 10% patients. BEWARE if you happen to fall in the 10%! He has no follow up care or concern about you once gall bladder sx is over and he files insurance. You are on your own! Zero bedside manner or compassion! Lots of other great docs out there!

Incompetent surgeon with condescending attitude. The surgery for a hiatal hernia repair and fundoplication Wolfe performed was not a success. He refused to take responsibility for the outcome and was so dismissive of my pain and altered lifestyle. I did file a complaint with Northside Hospital but was told that a hearing had taken place, but I was not permitted to know the outcome. The past year since the surgery has been a nightmare of pain, digestive malabsorption issues, gastritis due to h-pylori infection and failure to gain the weight I lost (15lbs) due to the surgery. And every symptom I went to him to fix is twice as bad as before his failed surgery.

I was hospitalized couple of time due to a bowl obstruction. I was in lots of pain . Dr Wolfe was the Dr that saw me and explained to me about my condition. Dr Wolfe was very professional and had great bed side manners . In June of 2023 Dr Wolfe performed my surgery where he did a small bowl resection It's now February of 2024 , I feel amazing. Dr Wolfe gave me back my life. I highly recommend Dr Wolfe . I am forever grateful to him

Dr. Wolfe was very professional, thorough and reassuring regarding the laparoscopic surgery I needed to repair 2 Inguinal hernias. His friendly and capable staff were actually able to get me scheduled sooner than originally thought possible due to the level of my pre-surgery discomfort. I definitely felt I was in good hands with regards to the entire team. From start to finish the procedure went smoothly and I was kept comfortable throughout the entire process. As I am writing this review I am almost a week post surgery and feel I am healing relatively quickly. Dr. Wolfe has done a great job of ensuring the recovery process has been as reasonably comfortable and pain free as possible. I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr Wolfe general surgeon Dr Wolfe and his staff came highly recommended. Due to my medical situation, I have seen several doctors this year. When I mentioned I was seeing Dr Wolfe for a hernia, all the other doctors recommended him. When I met with Dr Wolfe it confirmed what everyone was saying, he was awesome. He instilled confidence that he knew what he was doing and at the same time had a sense of humor. Expertise and comfort are a great combination when you need to see a doctor. Dr Wolfe's team is also over the top great! They took the time to ensure I knew what was coming with my surgery and after care. They called to check in on me a few days after the surgery and even sent me a card in the mail. I cannot say enough about how great my treatment was with Dr Wolfe and his staff. Dr. Wolfe is a great doctor with a good bedside manner. He did surgery on me for a double hernia and I was very pleased with the results! Thanks Dr. Wolfe!

Just had a small ventral hernia repair by Dr. Wolfe and he was absolutely wonderful in every way!! He listens, you do not feel rushed when talking and his bedside manner is superb!! I'm 2 days post op and all is going very well! Pain is so so but manageable with meds given. Thank you Dr. Wolfe, you and your office staff are truly the best!!!

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Wolfe and his staff. He is very caring, a rare quality among surgeons. He took the time to explain the procedure and how he was going to do it. I had a medically necessary Hiatal hernia with volvulus repair that could not be done through conventional surgery. Dr. Wolfe made many visits to my hospital room after surgery to check my progress and I must say 4 months post~op my incision is healing quite nicely and I generally feel much better thanks to Dr. Wolfe :D
