Dr. Gregg Shore, MD

I saw Dr Shore in 2010 for complications from rectal cancer. My rectum had disintegrated and he was going to help me by creating a new one. Everything was going great. The first surgery was done successfully with only one minor problem, my ileostomy was placed a little high, so I had troubles staying hydrated. But I was going to get rid of the ileostomy soon enough, when he reversed it. Unfortunately, he had a family emergency that forced him to move back home to TN. He referred me to the other physician in the area that was capable of doing this surgery, and that surgeon promptly destroyed my body. I was devastated. If only Dr Shore hadn't had to leave the area. His bedside manner was very kind and caring. He checked on me often when I was in the hospital after my surgery. The only time he slipped from this temperament was when I went to one of my appointments in great pain from being dehydrated and he was upset with me for not having taken any Imodium for the diarrhea I had.

He do my appendix, gallbladder and was very professional, but when he practice my inguinal hernia I noticed that after my 3 months I can feel it the lump. They tell me that is a hard tissues, but the lump continued growing. When I called to made an appointment the secretary tell me that he don’t practice surgery anymore???????

Although I am just in the early stages of my treatments and am very apprehensive, Dr. Shore has a delightful personality which makes treatments easier to deal with.

He did an excellent hernia surgery on my hubby.

Dr Shore performed my surgery to remove stage 4 cancer years ago. He is knowledgeable and skilled and warm and caring.

Yes I’ve never had a better Doctor take care of my 94 yr old mother-ln-law he is compassionate and has a great bedside manner I would recommend him to anyone I know. Excellent care thank you.

Dr Shore and Dr Lackey are very compassionate. Being detailed in their explanation of my procedure colostomy reversal. They make a good team and keep abreast of new developments. Im very pleased

Both Shore and Lackey may luck up and get a surgery correct every now and again but my experience w both! Do not trust them to do anything. I have a family member permanently injured by Lackey. On a simple gallbladder surgery. Now I have another member in a hospital in Orlando due to something Shore did. We do not know the full damage he causes.

He was honest and thorough. Personable and informative. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Wear a sweater or jacket. The office is cold!

No's nothing on nutrition after his surgery. You will return for more surgery's to fill his pockets. Seek another doctor.

Arrogant, Self Centered, will tell you what you want to hear doctor. Sadly to my expense. Maybe this is why the hospital has a poor rating

Not highly educated with digestive suggestions. Will blame hospital for poor nutrition than blame himself for not telling the hospital a healing plan. Real good with slicing and dicing if you're paying for it. Would rather be Chatty Cathy with nurse's than patient. Diverticulitis is not his specialty.

Dr. Shore removed my gallbladder, and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. I recovered nicely, and his bedside manner was very professional. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon!

This physician is a complete egomaniac and very rude. His superiority complex overshadows his ability to perform surgeries. Do yourself a favor and find someone else who values you as a patient and other as human beings to perform your surgery.

Very good, he explained everything in terms you could understand, took time to explain and even draw picture of what he was going to do.
