Could've Helped
The fact that 'Dr.' Alvarez took less than 45 seconds to actually look at my ankle. He could've cared less that my ankle was broken in multiple places. He completely ignored the state of my feet and jumped right to telling me I needed a 5k$ brace,600$ out of my pocket. Told me to exercise , lose weight! and put my feet up to keep swelling down. He completely misdiagnosed everything that was going on w me. Lymphadema ,Charcot foot, broken tibia, broken ankle, deteriorating muscles and tendons, broken toes, he missed every single one of them. His conclusions were demeaning and flat out wrong. I now have to have emergency surgery to do a complete reconstruction of my FOOT and my ANKLE. It will be fused together ,and if im lucky they'll be able to get all this done in 3 surgeries. The Empry specialist I saw said I was a month maybe two away from my leg being amputated from the knee down. So go see this 'Doctor' at your own peril

The office and staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. After x-rays were taken of my feet, I went into a room with PA. Hardly any wait time. Dr. Alvarez came in shortly, spent 3 to 5 minutes at most with me, suggested multiple surgery and new shoes and left. My questions were unanswered regarding exercises, PT or anything else. It seemed as though if I was not ready to have surgery I was not worth his time.

This doc is capable but has, at times, exhibited an attitude that negatively effects the results. I have a #2 toe that is messed up pretty bad. Nuff said.
