I had the absolute worst experience with this doctor. I am being treated for breast cancer and was so looking forward to talking to someone about my mental health and this journey. He berated me for being late (I was upstairs waiting on oncologist, who claimed Dr. Fernandez was running late too), then proceeded to tell me you have breast cancer and depression. What else? SO RUDE. I’m in shock because every single person I have come in contact with at MSK has been so incredible.

Dr. Fernandez listened so carefully to my concerns and offered coping skills. He also picked on a particular bloodwork reading to help me better understand my weight loss.
