Excellent Doctor and staff
I am a 10 year patient of Dr Kosmorsky, I totally disagree with the bad reviews. He is personable, friendly and thorough. His staff is excellent as well. I think the bad reviews are from one disgruntled person that is very childish.

Dismissed
When he came into my appointment, he looked at my historical MRIs and disagreed with prior reading. I asked a question about another diagnosis and he told me I didn’t have that either after looking with his naked eye and not consulting my background. He then accusingly asked me who sent me to him. He told me the problems I’m having are congenital despite never causing any issue in 50 years. I am so frustrated.

Waste of time. Dr. Kosmorsky literally spent less than 5 minutes and this was my first appointment. I have a long history which includes a brain stem tumor and an autoimmune disorder. As soon as I mentioned that I've had two pair of glasses with prisms in them- he acted like he couldn't get out of there fast enough. I believe he is lazy, dismissive, uniformed, arrogant and dangerous to have on staff at the Cleveland Clinic. If that's "World class care" then I'd question what world they are living in.

Go see anyone else
I went to see Dr. Kosmorsky because I suspected I needed a new prescription for my diplopia (double vision) condition. (My regular ophthalmologist was out on medical leave.) He would not test me for prisms but had me read the E chart. I had brought the material that I use my mid-range glasses for, and that precise focus is necessary. I asked him twice if he wanted me to look at this material with my glasses and to see that I possibly needed a new prism correction. He refused and said I saw just fine and that prisms were crutches. I found an optometrist outside CCF (because there were no appointments available for 2 months) whose special interest was convergence insufficiency, and he helped me enormously. He tested me for prism strength and found what I needed. Shame on the Cleveland Clinic for allowing one of their doctors to get away with not addressing a patient's specifically stated concerns and having the arrogance to tell them that how they are feeling is incorrect.

"Specialist" Wasted My Time and Money
After telling Kosmorsky I was treated like garbage by another in the profession, I no sooner received the same cold, useless, bigoted treatment. Talk about the lack of compassion. I was with his nurse for 15 minutes, he came in for less than five and dismissed me. With a very rare brain condition you expect testing, at the bare minimum, you expect guidance. Don't come here unless you're seeking mediocre (at-best) medical treatment. Keep those co-pays in your own hand.

The worst doctor ever! Spent 2 minutes with me and was dismissive, then tells the waiting room is to the right! How was the appointment over when we haven’t discussed anything? The appointment was weird and awkward

I had blurry vision in my left eye from November 2020 until March 2021 and then again from August 2021 until present, December 2021. After two hours of testing he said I need a new prescription which doesn't make sense with my symptoms coming and going. You don't wake up one morning not able to see out of one eye bc your prescription has changed. That happens gradually. He was very rude and dismissive and after I explained my concern he said there was nothing else he could do. I will never go back

Didn't get the answer I wanted, but I did get a plausible explanation (even though there's nothing he can do for me). But he had a great sense of humor and bedside manner. He really made me feel comfortable, heard, and respected. He did a very thorough exam, and was actually half an hour early for my appointment! Definitely recommend for my loved ones who can use his expertise.

Dr Kosmorsky is a MIRACLE WORKER. He did the surgeries on my eyes after I had lost sight from an aneurysm rupture. He was kind, through, and didn’t stop until my eyesight was perfect. I recommend him to everyone- I wouldn’t want to go to any one else now.

Breezy, perfunctory, dismissive. And that's as good as I got. Spent more time complaining about how hard Cleveland Clinic is making their physicians work to make up for lost revenue due to COVID than he did examining me. Would NOT recommend.

I found him Professional and to the point. I read the other reviews and found out for myself. They obviously want their hands held.I want a good Doctor. Which is what I found in him and his staff. He made me feel he was competent for my upcoming surgery and put my mind at ease.

I was referred to this doctor by another Cleveland Clinic doctor. His staff is friendly and professional, but the doctor was rude and dismissive. He did not do what the referring doctor wanted him to do. He said I had macular degeneration, which is true, but he offered no explanation as to why my vision in one eye drastically worsened after I had cataract surgery with a lense implant. He spent about 4 minutes with me and said there was nothing he could do. Sad that Cleveland Clinic employs a physician who makes people feel awful.

My office visit with him had to be the most unprofessional physician's appointment I have ever experienced. He was swearing about the new login procedures, while I sat with him waiting to hear my diagnosis. He was EXTREMELY nonchalant about my diagnosis. After acknowledging I had an eye stroke...he then exclaimed "there is nothing I can do for you " got up; walked me to the door, and pointed out the elevator . He was a referral from my ophthalmologist; however, I wish I would have did my own research. Given the context of my diagnosis, he didn't have to be so rude. I left there feeling more emotionally tainted by his (paid) condescending demeanor, than I was about my diagnosis.

My husband and I have both worked with Dr. Kosmorsky and really like him.. He is extremely efficient, competent, and has decent sense of humor. It is obvious he is very smart. I saw some people mention his back is to them when he is on the computer, but that is just how those offices are set up, plus the computer is where a lot of the data is. My appointments have been right on time. I would recommend him to anyone.
