Awesome Experienced Doctor.
Excellent Dr that has a plastic surgeon on board in his office. The wait time was about 5 minutes in waiting room & about 4-5 minutes before Dr arrived in room. He asked if I had time to get basil sells removed the same day, which I did. Was taken down to Plastic surgeon and the wait was about 4 minutes in that office. Everybody in the office including the Dr Gregery Messenger was very professional & polite. The office staff knocked and peeked in rooms to make sure I was alright and posted me on when the Doctors would be coming in my room as they finished up on previous patients. I would highly recommend these Doctors as this was a second opinion. I was told by a previous dermatologist I had 1 basil and needed 4-5 weeks---5 times a week of radiation. Dr Messenger found 3 basil cells and they was surgically removed and stitched. Dr Messenger is my NEW DOCTOR to go to from now on!

Excellent Doctor – Oct 29, 2022

Very unprofessional
I waited 30 mins just to be told that the doctor wouldn't see me. Why, because I had a cough... I informed staff that I had Covid 3 weeks prior and was told that I was fine to come in. I would never put anyone's health or life at risk by spreading Covid. I followed the CDC guidelines and felt that I was safe to be in public. Worse yet, I was told that the doctor wouldn't see me by the nurse in the middle of the office, in front of all the other patients. I was embarrassed and humiliated. They didn't bother to pull me aside and explain the situation to me, instead they humiliated me in front of the entire office. Needless to say, I will not return to the office.

Always had excellent care
I have been going to Dr Messenger for many many years and have had fast, efficient care. His rating that shows is not correct in my opinion.

He's conceited. Period. Took a huge chunk out of my skin on the back of my arm and now there's an obvious DENT! This was a small cyst that needed to be removed and nothing more. Now I have to live with this permanent indentation. Stay away from him.

lady in front office was nice and pleasant. the nurse or PA or whoever she was was curt and seemed impatient to get out of my room. When he came in he came in with an assistant or PA with him. I have no idea who it was since he did not bother to introduce her or ask my permission to allow her in the room. He told me to sit on table under the light and then proceeded to name all the things he saw on my face as she wrote them down. No bedside manner at all. The entire thing felt rushed. This was my first visit and I expected it to be a consultation. No, he told he lay down and proceeded to shoot my face full of some kind of numbing agent and then began the proceedure to remove some harmless growths I had on my cheek. He did not take the time to discuss this proceedure with me or explain it but just jumped in. When he was finished they both left the room without explaining if there was any follow up. I will not be returning.

My husband and I are both patients of Dr. Messenger. We are both very pleased. He is very competent and I highly recommend him. Yes, it may take some time for the waiting room and office visit but he is well worth the wait.

You will mostly see student doctors here, so you can get a fast appt. One foreign doctor messed up my accutane prescription because he didn't understand pharmacy policy. The pharmacy said it was illegal to do it the way the was suggested so I was without accutane for two weeks in a 6-month treatment cycle. I wasn't offered an apology by anyone at the office, in fact I was talked down to by a *receptionist* as if the Doctor wouldn't have said that. The idea didn't come from me. Be cautious here.

I have been seeing Dr. Gregory Messenger for about 34 years now. He has helped me with just about everything a guy can go thru between the ages of 18 - 52. He is a great doctor. My dad, wife and kids have been to him as well. It is my opinion the Dr. Messenger is an EXCELLENT DERMATOLOGIST.

Perhaps one of the most dissatisfying medical experiences I've ever had. The consultation was not a consultation at all. He asked me what i wanted from him, offered no explanation nor remedy. I expected some kind of help, not a non response. i am a retried hospital administrator with over 30 yrs experience both in the military and civilian facilities. I started my career as a combat medic/OR Tech during Viet Nam and continued through Dessert Storm as a hospital commander. extremely upset
