Dr Motley repaired my shoulder and he was professional, caring and knowledgeable. The office staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr Motley.

Dr Motley was more interested in how many other patients he had seen today that had the same problem I had with a very negative prognosis. Waited over an hour on a follow up visit - finally left without seeing him. Terrible personal interest, Xray report did not indicate a serious problem but he had me believing I would be spending rest of life in wheelchair.

I never actually saw Dr. Motley thanks to the incompetence of his office staff. I scheduled an appointment and requested that my medical records from my previous provider be retrieved prior to my appointment. I called back to confirm my records had been sent over. They had not. My appointment was rescheduled for two weeks later to allow the staff to get my records. After calling no less than five times during these two weeks, my records still were not retrieved. On the day of my appointment, when I called to see if my records had been retrieved, they could not definitively tell me if they had over the phone. So, I wasted my time going to their office, only to find out that the records had not been retrieved. They offered to reschedule my appointment. I declined. God help you if you have to deal with this office staff.

This man has an abrasive narcissist un caring personality, does not explain or listen and chastises you. I had two major surgeries un related to this visit and he told me I need to listen to him and not talk even if the things were pertinent to what I came in for. What he said to me had nothing to do with the reason I went in to see him. He stated if I weighed less And did leg lifts I wouldn’t have pain in the knee. I am 75 not overweight 5’5” at 140. I had to look on my UNC sight to see what was going on with my knee, what was written was never said to me during my rushed visit but explains the pain. I would not trust him with a hangnail. This was literally the worst Doctor experience in my lifetime. I have had other people tell me after I told of my experience the same kind of story. I left in tears. If I could give him a 0 I would. I wouldn’t recommend him to a dog catcher.

Dr. Motley provided me with medical care for an arthritic thumb that had bothered me for years. I had been treated by another doctor on several occasions but the treatments did not have a lasting effect. Dr. Motley's exam, explanation of the problem, and treatment were much more thorough than I had previously received. My hand is now back and can function far better than before. I am extremely grateful for the professional care I received from this talented professional. Respectfully, RGE Hendersonville, NC

Dr. Motley did a repair job from a botched orthopedist ( not in his practice) and between his expertise and knowledge has bought me some time before total knee. He spends a lot of time explaining and being honest and forthright in a caring way. I am SO thankful to have found him and have the utmost respect and trust in him him as my doctor. I have PMR which makes my condition tricky but he has been supportive , understanding and helpful. Tankful and grateful!!!

Dr. Motley has done surgery on my right knee twice in the past 9 years. He is compassionate, caring, competent, and Christian. He has also referred me to other excellent physicians in his medical group who have been extremely helpful and informative. His staff and team of physical therapists are The Best!

Dr. Motley is the most caring doctor I have ever known. After years of my own injuries and all 3 of my kids being his patient, I would recommend him to everyone, and I do... Love Dr. Motley and his sweet family very much.
