Office Is Really Bad
I have been a patient of Dr Perron for almost 10 years, but because of my recent experiences, will be seeking another provider. I had (2) appointments cancelled by the office (been waiting for months for a visit). Went there today for a scheduled appointment that I already checked in and paid for online, waiting in the waiting room for over 40 mins and finally had to leave to get back to work. When I tried to call back and reschedule, nobody would answer the phone (3 separate attempts). It is more of an issue with the office's apathy than Dr. Perron himself. It has gotten really bad. I will never set foot in that building again.

My primary care physician was not in and this "genius" shares office space with him. Went in due to a respiratory infection I could not shake. Pretty simple treatment for a physician. Refused to give me an antibiotic (he spent all of 30 seconds determining it was viral). Went home and following day girlfriend called requesting antibiotics and they replied to give it another week and then they would do an xray. I passed out that day from coughing so hard. Doc in the box did what he failed at.

Excellent and caring physicians are rare. It took quite a while to find Dr. Perron and for us to develop a trust and rapport. He cuts to the chase, listens well, is very conservative, and is absolutely BRILLIANT. He sets the Gold Standard for PCP. We're moving away and if only we could take him with us. Also, MUSC is par excellence.

He took a personalized approach that I find lacking in many doctors and is genuinely interested in your health. He went over all of my issues and concerns and has put together a plan to address each one.

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Perron as our family doctor. Whatever medical problem we have, he is always careful in diagnose and treatment plan. My husband is a diabetic, which requires quarterly visits. We live an hour away from his office but certainly worth the drive for the care we receive.

My experience with Dr. Perron has always been good. He takes the time to listen and then explains what he is going to do. He is never judgmental, such as when he mentions my weight, but does it in a very non-demoralizing way. He has been open to any and all medical issues that I have had and treats each with the same level of concern.
