Dr. Gregory Rowin, DO

Explains procedures to patient’s level of understanding with kindness and patience.

Dr Rowin did not come across as very professional. He made a joke (not funny) about the condition of my ears instead of giving a precise and comprehensive diagnosis. He then said "Take acetaminophen and come back in one year." I already take acetaminophen and do not plan on wasting more time.

The Dr. Was told that 21 YOA daughter, had sore throat, ear pain, and swollen tonsils with growth on it for the last 2 months. Dr. Said everything was “nornal”, prescribed no medication, and said to come back in 6 months. We told him we wanted the tonsils removed. He said it wasn’t our call and that the insurance would not pay for surgery and he walked out of the room. Called our insurance company and getting another appointment with someone else. PARENTS and PATIENTS….review any doctor’s reviews….I didn’t and this is what I got. N.R.

Got my father this appointment cause of dizziness and ear ringing next stopped up. Never looked in his ears or his throat sent him for test he went back to get results and meet with the doctor and the doctor told him it was all in his head. He has never looked in my father’s ears throat or anything. You don’t tell an individual that is in serious pain that it’s all in their head. Never will we visit this doctor or association again.

Horrible service. Twice I wasn't seen because front office doesn't do their due diligence in getting insurance authorizations. Dr. Rowin left me there because he had to leave. Service was horrible. I took time off from work twice to be turned away.

This doctor, through his due diligence, observed an issue in my throat that turned out to be stage 1 cancer. Caught early, I was able to have treated successfully. So, as you may expect, I have a very high regard for Dr Rowin. He is now my post-radiation follow-up doctor.

Clean, but unwelcoming office environment. Discussion in adjoining examination rooms could be heard through the walls. Very limited communication from the doctor especially for a first visit- seemed rushed and reluctant to discuss condition or options.

First time patient - we called at 8:30am with urgent ear condition and were told to come in at 9:30. Sure, we had to wait a little extra but it was a work-in and we were happy to get in on such short notice. Very clean lobby and offices with very professional, courteous staff. Exam, hearing test were done in office. Dr. took the condition seriously and ordered MRIs to rule out something more serious.
