My first appointment took up more than 75% of the time asking me why I wanted to switch care to her from a different doctor at this same facility who ended me up in the ER after doing every attempt she said to get better from my continuous lower abdomen pain w vomiting every other day or night. I felt as if this was a total violation of my rights and it is. It made my appointment very difficult for me to listen to and understand. Unfortunately I went w surgery and decided to put my trust in this doctor w having these ongoing symptoms. Post surgery I AM still in EXTREME pain and having the worst vomiting on and off now still. I was told by my psychiatrist after she saw the results and heard I was still in the same condition to reach out to them and I did so on the portal and by call. The next day I got a call not from her or nurse Dayton but the receptionist to call my PMC as they “can not do more for me” Me my therapist, psychiatrist, mom are beyond flabbergasted disgusted with you

I called the office on several occasions to get an appointment, once for a ruptured cyst and the second time for a bartholins gland abcess. I was refused an appointment even though I was told that she had openings. I was told to go to urgent care instead. I had previous plans to travel out of state for the holidays. I ended up sitting in a car for 8 hours while being in serious pain because when urgent care drained the abcess it closed back up. After about a week of terrible pain it finally resolved on it's own. Dr. Steifel did absolutely nothing to help me. She refused to even see me before I had to go out of town. Terrible experience.
