His diagnosis was accurate and he scheduled the surgery for a date that was most appropriate. The surgery proceeded as he predicted and the recovery was better than expected.

Gallbladder removal surgery
I was scheduled for surgery on December 9, 2024 but my surgeon injured himself and was not able to operate. I had a consult with Dr Thomas on December 10, 2024 and after meeting him surgery was scheduled on December 17, 2024. Dr Thomas and his staff were caring and professional. The surgery team was outstanding and I felt very safe with all of the medical staff. On day 3 after surgery and I had to contact Dr Thomas for a minor issue and he and his staff were responsive and caring.

Very Unpleasant Meeting p
I was happy to get an honest opinion on surgery needed but beyond that, this doctor made me feel very uncomfortable, when I told him things I would like he blew them off completely and yelled across the room that certain extra bloodwork I wanted done was ridiculousI've honestly never met such a rude and arrogant doctor, very disappointing and just not someone I would want to be around let alone operate on me

Good surgeon
Dr T is kind, professional but casual and easy to talk to. I’m a retired RN so very selective in who I choose to be my physician. He was always on time and efficient. I felt he was very experienced too. If a friend needs a general surgeon I will recommend him.

Lymph node biopsy
Dr. Thomas, on a referral from my PCP for a biopsy based on a CT, said he,d like a better image, so he got me in for an ultrasound within a half hour, and called me personally the next day to say he didn’t believe a biopsy was warranted. He called my PCP and discussed his findings, and they agreed to NOT perform an unnecessary procedure. I appreciate his concern and his expertise, not to mention him sparing me the discomfort and another trip to Burnet. I’ll be calling Dr. Thomas when it’s time for my colonoscopy next year.

He was terrible. He told me I had cancer as a joke. Then said I only had about 5 months to live. Then he started laughing and said he was just kidding. It was not funny. He was very disgusting.....

He is totally worthless in my eyes. My wife had a colonoscopy done and some growth was found and it was sent to be examined and it turned out to be cancerous. He was not going to tell her till the very day of surgery. She found out the day before only because she perused it. She battled cancer for 2 Long years and passed away July 3, 2020. I personally would not let him treat my dog.
