Her Medical Practice is Severely Outdated.
My honest opinion of Dr. Gunja Nigam, after meeting once, was enough to determine the incompetence and unprofessionalism in her practice. In most medical practices today, lab results are the same day or at least the next. Medical practices will give patients a detailed summary, stating what they came in for, the doctor's recommendations, their current medications list, and medications prescribed on that particular day, instead. Dr. Nigam called me 3 days afterward to give my lab results. I wasn't given an after-visit summary, so I had to remember all details, which becomes more difficult as I get older, and I'd been sick for more than a month when I scheduled the appointment. I'd given her staff details of my history, including being diagnosed with COVID, 3 times within a month, while being a very high-risk patient. That's why it was vital to see her asap. When I arrived, a note on her door said no sick COVID patients were allowed inside. I had to call for approval.

I would never recommend this practice yo anyone. Not one but three times this office has phoned in the wrong precscription. I have been same medication for 7 years. First time using Dr. Nigam for treating my thyroid I went two weeks w/o my script because the office phoned in 3x the wrong prescriptions. They could have killed me. If I had not checked I would have been taking liver medication. Never had a liver problem. After bringing to their attention they then 2 more times phone in wrong script

You either catch her on a good day or not. Sometimes I’ve been super rushed in and out without getting all concerns addressed and other times she’s super thorough. Same with her attitude- she is either very friendly and nice or just plain rude.

Over 2 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer and since then Dr. Nigam has been very instrumental in my integrative therapies. I don't have any evidence of cancer since after 5 months on my therapy, but the healing road was very bumpy. The entire time she and her entire staff treated me with such compassion, tremendous guidance and open minded approach that this was such a rewarding experience for me. She is truly has a gift from God, and we thankful for everything she has done for me.
