I wish I would have read reviews on this doctor before seeing him. I have never ever publicly review the doctor but I would strongly encourage anyone considering to see him to look elsewhere. When I read his note from the visit it was filled with factual errors, wild assumptions, but most disturbingly completely manufactured content. He never talked to me about what he thought the issue was, how the medication would help or any of the advice he said he gave me. He stopped the appointment at exactly 60 minutes on the dot and rushed me out the door Which is why I’m assuming he manufactured the content because he didn’t wanna take the time to actually discuss things. I will be filing a complaint with both his employer as well as the state medical board. Completely unethical.

Let me say that I have never left a negative review of ANY DOCTOR in my life. This so called "doctor" is arrogant, condescending, and dismissive in my opinion. It is his way or no way. So I took the highway. Could care less about listening to your condition, symptoms and treat appropriately. Thinks he is a gift to the medical field. Guess he THINKS he knows so much more than other docs. I am very pleased with my new doctor. Remember you have been warned and told. Look elsewhere.

Never met a more inconsiderate cold heartless soulless and careless psy doc in my life. Does not seem to really care about his patients, lost all of what it means to provide care. Find another doctor, trust me you will be glad you went elsewhere.

I've never left a review for a doctor before. I'm not a patient or person that leaves reviews for bad services at restaurants or anything. But I had to seek out some places to review this man because the experience was *that* awful. Rude, ignorant, dismissive, actually quite discriminatory, and lastly - perhaps most ironically - disclosed that he just wasn't very good at psychiatry. He refused to treat me on the first visit because "he doesn't agree with the combination of medication my previous psychiatrist has prescribed." When I said that was fine and asked if we should start then by working towards getting to a place that he *does* agree with, he said no and told me he doesn't even know how to handle someone on all three of these medications (I know, three, how mind numbing). Steer far, far away from this "doc" if you're prescribed more than three medications, I guess. It's just a little too far out of his pay-grade.

I unfortunately had Dr. Zhang as my psychiatrist for two years. He never listened to me or my concerns, brushed off my symptoms, and blamed me for my medication not working. Would never recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely horrible experience. He does not care what is wrong with you, just what he can prescribe to get you out of the office in the 20 minutes they schedule for new patients. How can you learn anything about a new patient in 20 minutes??? It is not entirely his fault, apparently Dreyer thinks 20 minutes is acceptable for a new patient visit who specifically requested to speak with someone about coping techniques for anxiety. I had time to review my medical history and then was ushered out.

Awful experience today. He didn't seem to care about my issues and wanted to quickly write a script for me. Very disappointed. Will never return and won't recommended any family or friends ever. I will make it my first priority to find a doctor who cares! I believe a psychiatrist needs to have compassion when treating people who are in a fragile state!

I would not recommend Dr. Zhang to other family or friends because he did not listen to questions the patient and family had. He seemed to have his mind made up on how he decided to treat the patient, and refused to address the concerns of the patient and the patient's family. If a doctor does not listen, I don't see how he can effectively treat his patients.

Dr. John Zhang has been doing a good job working to find the best medicine to treat a family member for depression. He is a careful Dr., that does not over medicate, as a past Dr. had.
