My grandmother suffers from the dementia and this doctor has been less than helpful in this event. Her dementia has become worse and quite frankly its getting ahead of us and we're to just trying to catch up. There's so much to it, it's extremely stressful and time consuming especially because she is on Medicare. The doctor is making it extremely difficult to access her medical records, charging more than the medical board of California allows and requiring I provide a USB. Although I made it clear an email would suffice. Further, the actual appointment itself was a nightmare. He didn't answer several concerns that I had, rather spoke to my grandmother when it's clear her cognitive abilities aren't close as to what they use to be. He talks about memory returning which we know is inevitable when it comes to dementia. It's a shame that this is what our community has to work with.
