Dr. Gustavo Rodriguez, MD

I almost died from a rare virus. All my follow up appointments with Dr. Rodriguez were great. Took all the time I needed to discuss issues. My wife was so impressed she changed her primary doctor to him. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Rodriguez is a horrible MD. He doesn’t ask me about my health or important medical matters. I have to initiate. Then, he doesn’t use factual information to base his decisions. And, he shows no care or concern for my well-being. Beware. I made the mistake in choosing him after my former primary doc retired. Dr. Rodriguez gave me 30 days to find a new provider after I told him “we don’t see eye to eye” about my care. He’s unrealistic with his demands. Don’t ask him to prescribe you medication or write a reasonable accommodations letter. He’ll throw a fit. Good luck.

It's crucial for healthcare professionals to adhere to their expertise and not make assumptions or diagnoses outside their scope.Additionally, it's frustrating that i was not being seen for the specific issue Dr. Rodriguez made in your chart. Carrying over someone else's diagnosis from 2012 without proper evaluation or a current assessment is not ideal, as it may not accurately reflect my current condition.Moreover, it's disheartening to hear that the diagnosis, particularly regarding mental health, led to a follow-up appointment that was condescending and filled with assumptions about my stability. Every patient deserves to be treated with respect and empathy, without judgment or unwarranted comments.
