Dr. Guy Hickman, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Hickman's over the last 20 years for different orthopedic problems I have incurred. I find him to be a very good doctor and I like his personality. I would highly recommend him. He has never steered me wrong and listens to you carefully.

Skilled, compassionate and able to quell fears of his patients loved ones. When my 93 year old Aunt fell, I called him from the emergency room and he came in and did her surgery the next morning. This is despite the fact that Dr. Hickman was not on duty that next day. Obviously, his surgery was fantastic, because my 93 year old Aunt who hip was operated on was walking within 10 days. What a doctor!

He performed a shoulder surgery and did a great job.

I absolutely trust Dr. Hickman's judgement and feel he really cares about his patients As a hip replacement patient with some serious joint and bone complications, I feel he has always been honest in offering an opinion on the best course of treatment. He takes his time to explain and has good sense of humor. .

Had a broken hip, brought to hospial by ambulance, hospial picked Hickman, did surgery, day after surgery, Hickman came in hospital room, we met for the first time, he did not at first say how surgery went, but said I was a BAD father for allowing my children to ride motorcycles, he said to me do i know how many children get hurt riding motorcycles? i was to say the least very upset, he doesn't know me ,nor did i know him, get out Isaid, oh by the way your leg after surgery is now 3/4 inch shor

If you've been hit by a car and injured this Dr. Will ignore your pain and injury and avoid needed MRIs and physical therapy. He is for saving insurance companies money.he failed to diagnose that my knee was fractured by not ordering MRI timely and ignoring severe pain. Now my knee is permanently injured and painful.
