Dr. Gwenn Lentine, MD

It was at least 1 and a half hours past my appt time when Dr. Lentine came into the treatment room. I told her that I'd been waiting a long time. She looked at the appt time and said, 'oh.' No apology or explanation. Then she gave me an exam which - in my opinion - could qualify as 'aggressive'. When she was taking a long time to get pap smear and causing a lot of discomfort I said, 'Are you scraping, or digging?' and she said 'A little of both.' The rest of the exam was just as painful. I could be wrong ... this was the first time I was seeing her instead of Dr. Herzog and maybe this is just how she treats all her patients. Which is still terrible.

Such a shame since the people at the front desk are so nice and accommodating. Once in the doctors office it is a completely different story, Dr. Lentine had questioned my diabetes care and asked many questions with a negative tone to it like she assumed I wasn't caring for my diabetes. She took advantage of me only being 19 years old in her office and treated me completely differently than when I went with my mother. She disrespected my healthcare endocrinologist with questioning her route to my care in a field that is not gynecology. I would not suggest anyone on the younger side to go to her, she made me feel very insecure and uncomfortable. Please save yourself the time and go to someone else and won't send you home crying of frustration or judge you.

Just loved her. She calming, patient , and kind

If it hadn't been for Dr. Lentine, I would not have an 18yo son. He got into unexpected trouble, and she dealt with it and saved us both. I will always be grateful to her.

I been going to Dr Lentine for about 10 years. She is very friendly and always listens to what I have to say. If I feel I have a problem she makes sure she runs the proper tests, to make sure there is nothing wrong and if there is a problem I receive a phone call to come in. I am very happy with Dr Lentine and her staff.

Very, very poor bed side manner. Dr. Lentine made me feel very uncomfortable and was very judgmental. She did not listen to one word I had to say, despite cutting me off each time I was able to speak. I will never, ever be seen by her again. It's a shame because the MA's and receptionist are all great and helpful. Dr.Lentine is very cold-hearted.

It's years ago and she was one of the major reasons I will never willingly go back to a gynecologist. I had had ongoing problems for years and she told me Oh well, if it's giving you so much trouble you might have well have it out. (uterus that is.) This shocked me a bit but I agreed. Surgery was supposed to take only hour took 8 (I was 52 years old at time) and I needed transfusions. She never even visited me in hospital except for 14 min while children were waiting in car. I still suffer.
