Dr. Habibeh Gitiforooz, MD

I found Dr Gitiforooz 4-5 years ago and am so glad I did! She takes time to get to know you as a person and is thoughtful in her approach regardless of your medical needs. I think so highly of Dr Gitiforooz that I fly into Cleveland to get my care exclusively from her. Dr Gitiforooz has multiple staff who have worked for her for 10-20 years. People stay because they are treated with respect and valued for their contributions and patients are treated with the same care and consideration. Professionally, Dr Gitiforooz has written volumes of scientific papers on gynecological issues. It gives me great comfort to know she continues to research advances in medicine so that she can provide the best care to her patients. I also love the adjacent spa where I can get elective care from staff who are equally wonderful. The atmosphere is so relaxing and calming. Dr Gitiforooz has built a wonderful suite of services in one place which is so welcome for busy women.

Very rude physician, very rude office staff. Inconsiderate of patients. My appointment was scheduled, cancelled and rescheduled four times. Then when I finally saw her the appointment was rushed and she didn't even address my issues for why I was there.

This doctor was absolutely awful. I left feeling extremely violated and uncared for. I was in her office for a total of 3 minutes maybe. Didn’t wash her hands before or after examination and was extremely rude and rushed me. Did not address any of my issues or solve any of my questions. Cut me off every time I spoke and had a student in the room without my permission. Had to have my prescription rewritten 4 times because she didn’t take the time to pay attention to write it correctly.

I was randomly placed with Dr. Gitiforooz when making an urgent appt for a severe pain I was having in my abdomen. She came in the exam room, asked me if I was planning on having babies this year and that was it. She didn’t address why I was even there. When I tried to explain my symptoms she cut me off and didn’t listen and didn’t address it at all...no questions about anything whatsoever. She did an annual and breast exam very roughly and under 3 min., in and out asap. Horrible exp

I have had an ongoing health issue for nearly a year and have seen about 9 specialists, most of whom were of no help, but in just a few minutes Gitiforooz clearly explained the nature of my health problem and probable solutions. No other physician has done this. She was polite, listened, was direct., responsive and informative -- exactly what a physician should be. It has been a grueling year for me but within a few minutes she set me on the right path. Thank you Jesus!

Amazing! So warm and personable. Dr. Gitiforooz took the time to answer all of my questions and was very careful to make sure that I felt I had all of the information wanted before the end of my appointment. She listens and explains everything thoroughly. The only thing I would change would be the wait time. I waited for half an hour. It would Be nice if the staff would let you know if you were next or not. But other than that, great experience, nice staff and a wonderful doctor.

Misdiagnosed my uterine cancer. After the ROUGHEST gynecological exam of my life, told me, as a 70-year old woman, that the bleeding I sought treatment for was due to a hole in my colon and "I should watch what I was eating." Months later, after persistent bleeding, I was diagnosed with cancer by another provider. SEEING THIS PROVIDER ALMOST COST ME MY LIFE. I cannot strongly recommend AGAINST this poor excuse for a physician. ZERO STARS. Cleveland Clinic - you should remove your association.

I am appalled that this woman is allowed to represent Cleveland Clinic. She entered the room and asked me if I had ever had a colposcopy before. When I said "no", she handed me the consent signature pad and asked me to sign it. I was given no explanation of the procedure. Informed consent?? What a joke!. She told me to stop "jumping" after she had preceded to enter me without warning. It was the most inappropriate encounter I had ever had in my life. Words cannot describe my disappointment.
