Dr. Hadi Estakhri, MD

1st, the unsung hero of Dr. E's staff is Paulina. She's friendly, efficient, competent and recently went out of her way to help expedite a med exception I desperately needed for travel, which I forgot to ask Dr. E on my call with him. 2nd, I've been a patient for about 2 years now, and Dr. E. offers vitrual appts which are super key for me. He keeps them short and sweet because I'm extremely busy with work. But he also spends time asking specific questions about my mood and adjusts my meds accordingly. He PARTICIPATES in my care, as opposed to simply writing scripts. Best of all? He takes medi-cal. I recently went off medi-cal and will need to find new insurance, but you bet I'll make sure he's included in my provider network.

Dr. E is a real kind human being. He listens and actually hears what I have to say and includes the family in hearing their side. I have physical challenges that are overwhelming and progressing. Not only is he knowledgeable in hearing me out but compassionate in trying to create the best treatment plan to offset my anxieties. He understands the overwhelming challenges I am currently facing. I truly felt heard, and he gave me all the time I needed to convey my message. I truly feel blessed to have him as my provider. I'm happy to have met him, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I also love Paulina, too-- she so sweet!

Dr E. showed me compassion, understanding and validation. He validated that what I had felt wasn’t wrong and that helped me enormously. He is kind, caring, humble and so knowledgeable. His staff are very respectful and understanding. I highly recommend him specially if you're going through PTSD.

I waited over a month to see this doctor and the first impression was not great. He was late on our first appointment! Is very cold and not friendly at all. He was rushing the entire appointment. I still gave it a try for couple of months but he was late every time at least 30 mins to our phone appointment. He didn’t bother do a video call with me to see my reactions and all he did was to say a few standard statements and end the appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!

Dr. Estakhri has been a highly professional, compassionate, and trusting provider. His office staff are very friendly and professional as well.

Dr. E is supporting me through a very rough situation right now. He has been more than helpful and gracious with his time.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY. This guy is the worst, stone-hearted, unsympathetic and unprofessional doctor I have ever seen in my life. He is not even worth of the try. DO NOT WASTE your Insurance copays on this so called “ Psychiatrist”. He will prescribe medications which have lots of side effects on your mental and physical health, but does he even care about you as his patient?! NOOOO. The only thing he cares about is the big bonus check he receives from those pharmaceutical companies because of advertising and prescribing their medications. And then he will harass you with his nonstop phone calls to convince you to change your mind and delete your reviews on social media.

I don’t know what happened with the prior reviewer but Dr.E is exactly opposite towards me and even is super responsive via email. He is one of the best doctors I have had and it is truly a blessing to have found a doctor that actually cares about me and my best interest

Soft spoken yet gets his point across. Can be stern if he thinks you are going off the rails, but he has to do that to make sure you don't do something crazy.

I saw this doctor a couple of times and found him to be incredibly arrogant and unhelpful and nearly impossible to communicate with. He also emailed me to respond to a negative review that I'd posted -- which is crazy. I'd go elsewhere.
