He does not understand his specialty. Cannot answer any questions. Makes single data point decisions. No interest in medical history. Result was recommendation for procedure that could have greatly impacted my long term health because of his lack of attention. Charges for 45 minute appointments that last 25-29 minutes (my iPhone stopwatch doesn’t lie)Boston area is listed as one of the best healthcare centers. This guy is NOT one of them.Thankful I pursued another Endocrinologist at Mass General Brigham that listens, explains and problem solves.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROVIDER.

Dr Kojanian! Bedside manner, Yikes!
Dr Hagop Kojanian! Though, Extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, completely lacks Any bedside manners. It would be nice if he possessed both; however I’m happy enough to take the knowledge over the friendliness! I use as few words as possible., that seems to works; for me at least!

Dr. Kojanian has been my endocrinologista for almost 3 years, and though it took me awhile to get used to his "short and sweet" appointment, he has done a terrific job fixing my thyroid issues. I have recommended him to a friend, and will definitely continue doing so.

If I could leave no stars I would. I waited 5 weeks for an appointment for newly diagnosed diabetes. I was told when booking the appointment that he would want to see me sooner because I was also pregnant but they had no earlier appointments. When I arrived for my appointment I was told that Dr. Kojanian doens't treat pregnant diabetic patients. I wasted 5 weeks to be seen for a newly diagnosed disease that will affect my pregnancy only to be turned away.

Dr. Kojanian is nice, attentive and very able. I feel he could initiate a little more explanation of symptoms and their meaning, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis, but, I feel confident that he knows his business and what he's doing, even if I'm not altogether aware. If one asks him questions, he provides answers. He and his office staff are excellent at follow-up care. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Kojanian.
