I went to see Dr. Shah for treatment of my spider veins. After doing an ultrasound, I was told that I had deep varicose veins, although I could not see them or feel them. I agreed to a series of treatments that went on for five weeks. Since that time, I have been to the emergency room because my leg swelled; I was told it was phlebitis. Then a large, painful vein protruded from my leg which Dr. Shah drained. A week later, the vein swelled up again. I asked for my files so I could get a second opinion. Although I requested the files multiple times and was told they were mailed, I never received them; I had to pick them up myself. The opinion of the second doctor was that I probably never needed treatment for the varicose veins to begin with and nothing can be done to fix the damage caused. Thank you, Dr. Shah, I went to you for treatment of spider veins and four months later, I now have a varicose vein.

I have poor circulation in my feet and lower legs, which causes numbness, occasional pain and skin discoloration. They performed a laser ablation to close off part of a vein in my left leg. The doctor said this would improve blood flow overall. It's been two months and I'm due to have the same procedure done on my right leg, but I've canceled the appointment. I've seen no change whatsoever in how my left leg feels or looks. Their procedures might work for cosmetic issues, but the pain and numbness is still there. Also, I learned that they are still open and operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. At a time when I can't see my eye doctor, and can only see my MD over video conference, how can they justify seeing patients for cosmetic procedures?
