Fantastic Cardiologist
I have been a patient of Dr. Abughnia for a couple of years now. He has always been thorough and personable. I never feel rushed or talked down to during our appointments. In fact, I always leave feeling reassured. His suggestions are always helpful and he never pushes unnecessary medications, tests or procedures. I feel safe and optimistic under his care. I highly recommend him and am truly grateful for his expertise.

Was told that he would call us Thursday evening regarding additional tests that my husband needed before heart surgery. Never called us back that week. Called twice the following week and still no call back. Even called the heart surgeon’s office and they called his office asking that he call us back. Very upsetting as my husband’s condition is getting worse. Hate to start over with another cardiologist but will need to. .

He is friendly and warm. Made me feel comfortable immediately. He answers questions and makes sure you understand what he’s telling you. I really feel safe with the decisions we make on a treatment or procedure that’s being considered. I have advised friends of mine to contact him for care if they should need a cardiologist.

Worst doctor ever. My son had to tell him what tests he needed. This “doctor ??” then called him wrong script. The staff was so unorganized they lost his lab results. They then told myself and my son not to call so much to find out results that were lost anyways! He’s awful and I am reporting him to the Medical Association

Treated me as if I were family. Dr. Abughnia saved my life by shipping me by ambulance from Scranton to the Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. He placed me under the gifted hands of Dr. Wade Fisher at Hahnemann since I was such a very high risk for surgery. That was October of 2016 and I'm still here Thank God!

I met Dr Abughnia yesterday,I was very impressed. I needed a local Cardiologist,he was very open,upfront, was well aware of my history,spoke to me in a respectful,attentive,professional manner. As a nurse for 30 years I can say I was VERY IMPRESSED! I already recommended him to 2 friends of mine .
