Dr. Hala Moustafa, MD

Two years ago, I had a panic attack. I was searching for a provider to speak with and help me through the aftereffects of a panic attack. Dr. Hala Moustafa was the only person I found that was understanding, empathetic, and personable. Dr. Moustafa is a person I trust and look forward to my conversations with her.

This place was horrible I saw a Dr Munir he was of no help whatsoever he was cold definitely lack of personality accent was hard to understand spent very little time with me. I also saw Dr Mustafa years later who did not spend any time whatsoever with her patients did not explain the medication she typed on the computer the entire time I was talking and the office was claustrophobic no windows smelled of smoke and they tried to push EMS. She was literally so lazy she did not get off her chair to come get her patients she just called loudly from her office. The whole place needs a redo not just the building but all the doctors.

Dr. Moustafa is an excellent doctor who truly cares about her patients. She is extremely knowledgable and understanding. She is fast to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. The only issue I have is that follow-up/check-in visits tend to be extremely short, some only a few minutes, and I often feel rushed, but that is likely the nature of the health care industry in the U.S. Highly recommended.

Dr. Moustafa is a wonderful Doctor who truly cares about her patients. She is a great listener as well as an advisor. I don't know where I would be without her care. For anyone who has mental illness concerns, she is the Doctor to see.

Dr. Moustafa was the first psychiatrist I've seen, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I've been seeing her for over a year now and have zero complaints. Dr. Moustafa is always very attentive to what you tell her, and works with you to come to a solution that will help. Whenever you have any questions, she is more than happy to explain anything you need explained. Even if you don't have any questions in mind, Dr. Moustafa will still ask if there is anything you would like to ask her or talk about, and that's great! You can tell she really cares about her patients! It's always a pleasure speaking with her. Thank you!!

Dr. Moustafa is one of a kind. She is an amazing person that cares about her patients. I’ve never felt rushed or felt uncomfortable around her. She’s helped me so much and I appreciate her so so much.

Dr. Moustafa started seeing my mother about a year ago. My mother has chronic pain and underlying health conditions which are a major contributing factor to her depression. I pushed her to see psychiatrist, especially because she takes a multitude of medications and a specialist would know how to work with her specific circumstances. Dr. Moustafa adjusted her depression and anxiety meds in a way that greatly improved my mother's mood and tolerance for daily activities. She is an excellent listener. She makes you feel heard and seen and she respects your feelings. She is intelligent and experienced. I tell everyone I know that they should see Dr. Moustafa for any mental health needs.

For a while I relied on my primary care doctor to prescribe my anti-depressants, but a friend convinced me to see a psychiatrist because my combination of meds weren't working right. Dr. Moustafa changed my life. She is a great listener and is extremely empathetic and understanding. She adjusted my medications effectively (and I am on a lot of stuff due to my MS) and I started feeling better relatively soon after seeing her. She gives such personalized attention that you feel like you are her only patient. I recommend her to everyone!!

She cares about all her patients like they are her family and friends. She says complimenting and uplifting compliments about me and my daughter. It brightens my day to receive a compliment. She’s very nice to talk with and she doesn’t judge people. Thank you

Dr. Moustafa is a great doctor. She helped me during the pandemic when it was hard to find a doctor. Was very attentive.

Horrible. This doctor needs to go to integration school. I can’t believe we are in such desperate situation that we give this person a license

Dr. Moustafa has been helping me manage my medication since last year, and she has been a huge help. She listened to my concerns of having too many medications pushed onto me and has helped me find a balance that works for me. I feel that she cares about the wellbeing of her patients and she has been great with helping me figure out the right medication for my needs and having my prescriptions refilled in a timely fashion. She's made my life much more manageable and I would highly recommend her services to anyone seeking help with their psychiatric medications.

Dr. Moustafa is the best Psychiatrist I have ever had, and I have had three before over my lifetime. She is a very good listener, and extremely knowledgeable about all of the various psychiatric medications, because in addition to being a Psychiatrist, she is also a Psychopharmacologist. I have Bipolar Disorder and Dr. Moustafa has helped me immensely. Dr. Moustafa is very confident and methodical, and she has helped me get well in a very short period of time. I feel so much better since I started seeing Dr. Moustafa. I highly recommend Dr. Moustafa.

Dr. Moustafa is a great psychiatrist and cares about what she does. She took the time to help me find which medication worked the best for me and made sure I was improving. She is very easy to talk to and I highly recommend her!

Dr. Moustafa is a wonderful Psychiatrist and this i believe is an understatement, she's magnificent. In the beginning of September I began suffering from severe anxiety attacks and random panic attacks all hitting me at once. I googled Dr Moustafa and by the grace of god i came across all her positive reviews from other individuals experiencing similar symptoms to what was happening with myself. Dr. Moustafa literally made arrangements to meet with me 1 day after calling her office, mind you she wasn't available until the following month. Thankfully, she made arrangements to meet with me and help conclude the issue that arose. She's a wonderful doctor who listens and knows what necessary steps to take. She has been a tool of god to help individuals like myself overcome issues as mine and many other problems that we face on a daily basis. She prescribed the perfect medication and thus far i've been keeping my anxiety on check as well as the sudden panic attacks. Thank You Doctor M!!!!

Dr. Moustafa is a wonderful physician. You can tell when you talk to her that she genuinely cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain options with you and uses sound judgement. I never feel uncomfortably talking to her about my condition. I would recommend her again and again!

Dr. Moustafa has been very kind and caring doctor. During my visits with her, she has been very attentive and has truly shown an interest in helping me overcome MY problems things about me and my life. She has shown a true interest in helping me, my appointment time is all about me and how she can help me improve my life.
