I had 2 visits with Dr. Mahdavieh as a primary care provider, and never have I felt more brushed off, ignored, and rushed by a medical care provider. My 2nd visit with her, she brushed off an abnormal breast exam as a 'cyst' and elected against further testing, despite my family history of breast cancer, and referred me to the internet when I asked about an ADHD diagnosis. Despite being able to book a telehealth appointment to seek help about an ADHD diagnosis, I was notified by one of her team members 20 minutes before the appointment that she 'doesn't do ADHD'. When I asked for a referral to someone who could help diagnose me, I was told to look on the back of my insurance card. I asked about different birth control methods available to me, and she gave me incorrect method information, despite this question being listed in my appointment notes. Each appointment ran less than the allotted time, and I felt like a cash cow filling her pockets, rather than a patient with real concerns.

Cannot recommend Dr. Mahdavieh
Yes, I went to her for awhile. Her attention span with myself as a patient was nil. Appointments were cancelled twice due to her emergency schedule. This was during the pandemic, and the annual visit was exactly the 20 minutes that is allocated. I did not ask too many questions, as I was concerned that she needed to leave quickly. Do find someone else that will care about you as the patient.

Dr. Mahdavieh is by far a superior care giver. She is knowledgeable, caring and competent. I've been seeing her for over three years now, every three months. She always listens to my concerns and answers them thoroughly and in layman's terms. Near the end of out visit, she is always cognizant to ask, and anything else? She does this because she wants to make sure I am completely taken care of before I leave. She ALWAYS validates me. I would not see another MD.

Had a new patient appointment with Dr Mahdavieh, I was 10 min late but the practice sees patients up until 15 min. When I arrived, she refused to see me despite the urgency of my visit. Never again.

My mom has been seeing Dr. Mahdavieh as her primary care now and she is extremely knowledgeable and know how to treat her patients. She does take her time explaining things to her patients and is very well aware of her patients health and history. We are extremely happy with her.

STAY AWAY FROM DR. HALEH MAHDAVIEH. She was the worse experience I have had because of the following reasons: 1. She has attitudes and rude to me. 2. She is not professional since she could not answer any of my medical question. 3. She was in a hurry to finish my visit as soon as she can! She made me uncomfortable to ask any question because she wanted to leave!! This visit was suppose to be my free annual check up but guess what! They sent me a bill and when I asked them they said Dr. Haleh says you asked too many questions!! She is clearly a theaf! All in all I do not recommend her to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Mahdavieh is similar to that of other reviewers here. I would certainly not call her thorough in her physical exams of patients. Nor would I assess her as being good at following up with patients or their families after visits. If you want a thorough, responsive physician your best choice probably lies elsewhere. On a side note: Scripps is constantly touting itself as #1 in this and the best in that... but my experience does not match their boastful rhetoric.

Dr.H Mahdavieh doesn’t seem to care about her patients much,She is Okey if you are healthy but if you any issues,She is absolutely helpless! Also for first physical exam ,she didn’t check anything and soend only five minutes!!!! Not recommending this Dr to anyone!!!!!

Dr Mahdavieh is a passive doctor. She may be a good doctor for a healthy individual. However, my issues with weight were met with commiserations of her own weight battle. Only after persistent questioning did she share that Scripps has a weight clinic. (A very good clinic.). My pain issues were met with inaction. My takeaway was to just live with the pain, she of course did not say that, just my interpretation. I have now found a proactive, present doctor.
