Office Staff Rude,Incompetent
Ever since my geino retired I felt my yrly service was 'rushed'. Dr B is a fine doc, thankfully no issues but my yrly ck so I have no idea if I actually trust his judgement. His office staff is another story. It is horrible enough to make me run from this office in which I have been associated with since college age, I am mid 60's. I am now doctor shopping. No working portal, which mean you have to go thru the person who answers the phone for her to paraphrase, and argue, what message you want to convey with the doctor. My insurance requires 3 month Rx, for some reason they can get this right, the send in a monthly our 5 refills, no matter how many times I talk to them. My math says this is a 6mnth Rx, not a yr. This is costing me $121 at the 3 mnth mark vs $44 for the 3 mnth. Refill person keeps blaming Optum Rx but the pharmacist actually has the electronic copy of the way the Rx was sent in.My insurance covers 100% yrly. They argue that I am covered eo yr, not true, EVERYYEAR

Received my test results a year late.
He IS soft spoken and seems very compassionate. My problem is I was mis-diagnosed! I went in for an annual pap smear and did not return until the following year. Well, I received a call from Stephanie that I had an STD. I asked how is that possible since I had not been sexually active in nearly 2 years. She put me on hold and after a few moments she returned to say that unfortunately no one had called me last year with my test results from that pap smear informing me of the STD at that time. I was furious! They called in a prescription for me and I took the meds as prescribed. Dr. Banooni apologized profusely for the "office error" and assured me that no long term harm had come to me for the delay in taking medication to clear the infection. I searched for a new Gynecologist and 8 months later I found out from the new doctor that I was still infected by whatever STD I had and that she was going to prescribed a new antibiotic. All is well now but NEVER assume no news is good news! Call!

I first saw Dr Banooni after I had a miscarriage in January 2019. He was kind, compassionate and understanding of my goals. I’m 39 years old and had my first daughter in 2017. When I had my miscarriage, I left another practice to see Dr Banooni. He did my D&C and he told my husband and I that we’d have no trouble conceiving again and he was right. I’m holding my second daughter as I’m writing this review. She was born on December 31, 2019. Dr Banooni, Stephanie, the NP, and the entire staff including the front desk, all the way to check out are amazing! During my entire pregnancy, i felt calm and assured that everything would be OK. Obviously, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Banooni, Stephanie and the entire office to anyone who is pregnant or trying to get pregnant. However, I don’t want his practice to get too busy because I don’t like to wait haha.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Banooni and I was quite impressed. Dr. Banooni was sensitive, kind and quite understanding, especially when I described my depression having recently lost my mom and over 16 pounds in the interim. He was so compassionate and sympathetic. I would highly recommend this physician and felt all my concerns were addressed properly.

Worst practice ever for a high risk patient ! They put fear on you and no one is there holding you hand when you are scared! They lost my glucose test and I went on preterm labor ... I almost died of how high my sugar was ! Dr was very negative I understand you have to be realistic but the fear he put in me it was horrrible

I am a former patient of Dr. Banooni. I am only a former patient because I don’t live in the state anymore. I was having a conversation with my now adult daughter about how great Dr. Banooni was when I was pregnant with her and her sister. I can’t say enough nice things about him. I haven’t seen him in at least 12 years and he still comes to mind as one of the best drs I have ever had. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, and a wonderful person. I really miss having him for my dr.

Dr. Banooni is a very soft spoken knowledgeable OBGYN. I have been a patient for a long time at the office (over 30 years) but became Dr. Banooni's patient after my original doctor retired. I highly recommend this office for women having issues becoming pregnant and for any and all OBGYN problems. Great staff and office!

Worse doctor in town. His staff are even worse than him. The schedule you for an appointment and you go in a very bad condition to see him after one week of waiting, they tell you : Oh. He is busy at a delivery. I do understand OBGYN get busy with delivery but at least the staff has to be trained enough to call the patient to let her know of a cancellation before she shows up. Not only that, they don't even have the courtesy to be seen by one of his partners! They will charge you no matter what

Dr. Bannoni is amazing! He always listens, makes you feel as comfortable as possible and & really cares about his patients. I usually never write reviews but he's truly phenomenal and coming from someone who's always nervous before doctor apts that's saying a lot!

Dr. Banooni has been my Doctor my entire adult life. I first saw him when I was a teenager when I had a scare of some abnormal cells and he did the required procedure for free, because I had very little money and no insurance. He has always had an amazing way of making me feel completely comfortable and at ease. He is incredibly friendly, funny, kind and sincere. The world could surely use more Dr.'s like Dr. Banooni.
