Dr Hamid Mir is smart. That’s my first impression when I met him for consultation. I knew I was in good hands with him operating on my neck. I was rear ended several times 15 years ago while working for a major company. Two very severe accidents, one moderate. I’ve been in excruciating pain ever since. Finally got approved for this surgery to remove bone spurs, replace collapsed discs with cadaver discs, and fusion of C5, C6, C7. Dr Mir went in through the front of my throat to do the whole operation. It took about 2.0 hours. I had minor pain that afternoon and evening. The next day I hardly felt any pain. That evening I went home. I didn’t feel any pain, didn’t have to take any prescribed pain pills or aspirin. None whatsoeve Dr Mir is the best surgeon I ever had. This is my 5th surgery. Previous are shoulder, elbows, wrist done by various specialist surgeons. I asked Dr Mir if this is a routine surgery for him. He said yep, and he calmed my nerves with his confide

Over multiple visits with Dr. Mir over a few month period of time, I found that Dr. Mir is a true professional. He is very compassionate and truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients. He is very patient, and is an excellent communicator. Dr. Mir answered EVERY single question I had, no matter how complicated (or sometimes very simple) the question was. Dr. Mir has an excellent and extremely professional office staff. Each me,bet of his staff is very quick to respond to messages and emails

Dr. Mir performed my neck surgery one year ago. Everything went well at first. But it was the care I received after the surgery that was horrible. My bones weren’t fusing as quickly as he thought they should. He didn’t offer any solutions, he just put blame on me. It was really unprofessional and childish. So I retrieved all of my records and found an ortho at Hoag, Dr. Dennis. He was incredibly thoughtful and professional. He helped me through the healing process and today I am fused.

I went to this Dr mir for a consult. I was in the room 5 minutes. He did not look at films of my mri. He read my report and said the report was wrong and refered me to pain management. I tried to relay my concerns and DR MIR said go see your regular doctor. I have been to consults before. This by far was the worst experience I have had with any Dr!

Absolutely the best in the business, Dr. Mir, has given me my life back. Doctor Mir and his team really have the special touch of calm and knowledge letting you know your in the best of care. Hands down could not ask for better results, or a better surgeon.

Awesome! Dr Mir and his staff are so polite and knowledgeable, Dr Mir performed a multi-level cervical fusion on me and my headaches were gone immediately! I have and will recommend him to family and friends!!!!

Very short visit. Doctor only examined me once during several months of seeing him. Didn't want to talk to me, or didn't want to explain conditions or treatments. Wishy washy regarding treatments.
