Dr. Pan is amazing!
We live in South Florida and were on a cross country trip in our motorhome, on our way home when my husband dropped dead from a heart attack in a Walmart parking lot in Arizona. He had no previous symptoms. He was arguing with a guy in the parking lot about someone in his group throwing trash on the ground, the argument was getting heated. I stepped inside the RV and heard someone yell call 911. I ran out and there was my husband lying on the ground. I called 911 and the guy he was arguing with started chest compressions. I don't know your name but you are a hero. Paramedics arrived and revived him. He was airlifted to a hospital in Phoenix and fortunately Dr. Pan took his case. He has an air of confidence that is reassuring and a humility that is comforting. He was honest regarding the potential complications and outcome. It was a very difficult surgery and he put his all into saving my husband's life. He truly cares about his patients and their families. Thank You Dr. Pan!

Dr. Pan saved me
After falling off my bike I suffered a freak heart injury. Dr. Pan was thoughtful and more importantly, skillful! I believe he saved my life. He kept my family aware at all times and helped calm their nerves enough to have sandwiches and not starve with nervousness. Thank you so much.

Dr pan is an excellent doctor, but on follow up I seen his idiot nurse. She said am I in any discomfort, I looked at her and said major discomfort. Your stitches are healing good , I said I am almost out of meds she blew me off your good to go. No ekg or nothing. I was in so much pain I went to the Mayo clinic they did EKG, X-rays, and blood tests. Said I had fluid around the heart causing my discomfort and prescribed me meds.she just lot a good doctor a good patient. I would fire this woman

Dr Hao Pan
Dr Pan is very friendly. He was able to access my defective heart valve and successfully replaced it. He was very informative and did great follow-up both in the hospital and after my release. His expertise in replacing a mitral valve was exceptional. He explained each step of the process and performed the surgery flawlessly. It has not been a little over 3 months and I feel 100% again. Thank you Dr. Pan.

One of the BEST Cardiothoracic doctors
Having only 1k of words is very limited. This doctor was one of the best we have encountered. The skill that he has surpasses even the above average of his kind. To add, talk about bedside manners - WOW!!! This DR is beyond words. Personable, Kindhearted, Meticulous but one who strives for EXCELLANCE. If you have issues with the heart, this is the surgeon you want & need. What he did for my wife, short of saving her life, is beyond words. He doesn't hit you with BIG words that make him impressive, he talks to you so you gain understanding. My wife had to have a Mitral Valve replaced. Thought to be repaired but because of Dr Pan's level of Excellence, it got replaced. Functioning well. She is ALIVE. I state this not to brag, but to give you, the reader, the idea that this doctor is one of kind. You don't find too many like him that has the personal skills AND the medical skills as this doctor has. May I introduce you to DR. Hao Pan. WE love this guy & forever will be so thankful.

Pericardial Window
My entire family thanks Dr. Pan for his great care for my 88 year old dad. My dad had to have a pericardial window put in because of a large amount of fluid accumulating around his heart and lungs. Dr. Pan spent a lot of time explaining the surgery and answering questions for my dad and then turned around and went through all of it again for the rest of the family. The surgery was a success and Dr. Pan checked on my dad every day while he was in the hospital. We highly recommend Dr. Pan! Very professional and highly skilled surgeon!

Very competent, creates positive relationship
I highly recommend Dr. Pan. He provided me with very useful information and recommendations that helped me feel very comfortable with his approach to my surgery and care. After the procedure, he was similarly helpful with information and answering all of my questions. I really appreciate how he shares with me the bigger picture of what relates to my health concerns, and I feel better educated as a result.

Heart Surgeon Dr. Hao Pan
There are many reasons why I would recommend Dr. Pan to anyone who finds out they need open heart surgery, but the main reason is that he truly cares about you as a patient and strives for the best possible outcome for your surgery using research-based practices. Having had a healthy lifestyle, I was surprised to find out I needed a mitral valve repair. I was hesitant to have the surgery, but Dr. Pan answered my seemingly “hundreds of questions” and explained to me different test results that showed that surgery was needed at this time. He was more than willing to spend the time that was needed to make me more comfortable and to assure me that he was doing everything he could to have the “best outcome”. The surgery went well and the care afterwards at MCR was amazing.

Dr. Pan is a miracle worker!
December 2020, my brother had an aneurysm on his aorta blow. He should be dead but thankfully Dr. Pan was assisting with the surgery and it was very successful. March 2022, my mom had an aneurysm on her aorta and Dr Pan was the main surgeon for her and she is a success story. Dr. Pan helped save my brother and my mom (along with Dr Douthid of UCHealth). Dr Pan is a friendly people person and he may look super young and have a total baby face but boy, can he help make miracles come true. God Bless Dr Pan.

Top notch doctor and person!!
Dr. Pan recently performed a Convergent surgery on me to help correct persistent AFib. Throughout the process, from my initial consult, to the surgery and during after care I was incredibly impressed by his concern for my welfare. He is honest, up front, caring, considerate, interested in me, a great listener, highly intelligent, highly skilled, dedicated and thorough. On top of all that he is a fun person to be with. One of the other cardiac doctors on staff at UCHealth who I had to see following Dr. Pan's work remarked the the outcome of my surgery was the best he had ever seen. As far as I am concerned, that pretty much says it all. I am very blessed and fortunate to have Dr. Pan taking care of me. I trust him implicitly and highly recommend him to anyone need cardiac treatment.

Dr. Pan performed an aortic valve replacement surgery on my grandmother. He spent a great deal of time talking us through everything and answering all of our questions. He truly treated us as if we were his own family. He has such a wonderful bedside manner, he is calming, funny, and so personable. He never rushes through visits and takes time to ensure all of your concerns are addressed.

Dr. Hao Pan, M.D.
Dr. Pan performed triple by-pass on me Jan. 27, 2022. Considering my advanced age (82) and the critical extent of blockage in the three principal arteries, I feel what he was able to accomplish toward my recovery to a fully functioning life. to be an exceptional endeavor. I would certainly recommend Dr. Pan as a skilled and well certified surgeon.

We met Dr. Pan at a vulnerable time in our lives. My husband suffered a heart attack, and he was sent to Med Center of the Rockies - Loveland, CO. Dr. Pan was assigned to our case. We met him in the morning, with triple bypass surgery scheduled at 1pm. He quickly put us at ease, that we were under his confident, expert care. He took time to explain the complexity of the necessary operation, and answered many questions along the way. He had a bedside manner that made us feel he truly had compassion and concern for a positive outcome and rebound back to a normal life for my 58-year old husband. Would we recommend Dr. Pan? Absolutely!!!

I had a recent Three vessel Cardiac Artery Bypass Graft done at University of Colorado Medical Center of the Rockies. Dr Pan was my surgeon and I would like to take a moment to reccomend this amazing surgeon. He spent a lot of time with us and did not make us feel rushed or pressured. He explained the approach he was going to use and what to expect from it. He did not minimize it and he listened carefully and empathetically to our concerns both before and after surgery, with a level of compassion that I dont see as often as I would like in Cardio Thoracic Surgeons. He was using the most successful and advanced methods of surgery and his skill level is unmatched. (I have a fair amount of experience in this as I am an ER Nurse, Interventional Nurse and Surgical Nurse so...I'm I think I have a very objective and critical eye for this type of thing.) He is a very meticulous and precise surgeon who manages to bring the surgical talent and training together with compassion.

A superb blend of compassion and surgical skill – Dec 06, 2021
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Pan?
Dr. Pan is confidence personified. And rightfully so. From my initial appointment with him, my husband and I walked away feeling like I was going to have a good chance at a much better life. Even with his mask on, you could see almost excitement in his eyes as to what kind of challenge I was going to present. His mind was going 100 mph planning my surgery out even that day. I got through the surgery well and in less than 6 months I am feeling better than I have all this year, in fact better than I have in quite a few years. Dr. Pan has such attention to details that he even considered the fact I am a woman and he made the scar low enough that I still could wear v-neck tops. I would have never thought about that, but he did. Wonderful surgeon and really nice person,
