Hip Replacement
I would like to compliment Dr. Chadha on his wonderful care. First, he always took the time to talk with me and explain everything thoroughly. He even pulled my x-rays and explained them!! Second, he was very personable and I could tell he really cared about me as a person but also cared about my progress after surgery. Third, he is also an excellent surgeon. I know because I had another hip replacement 8 years prior to seeing him. I have much more flexibility after his surgery. Thank you Dr. Chadha for being such an outstanding person as well as an outstanding surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Due diligence - review mbc.ca.gov prior to choice
had a surgery performed by Dr. Chadha on an urgent basis. Aftercare appointments were rushed and I felt that instructions were poorly explained. Wait times were extremely long. I recently saw that this surgeon had been placed on probation. The full information concerning the accusation of negligence can be found on the California Medical Board website. I feel reviewing such sites and reviews ect enables consumers to come to an informed decision about their choice of surgeon.

I'm 52-years young, and I had my left hip replaced by Dr. Chadha on 19 JAN '21. The procedure - conducted from the back of the leg, took place at the Otay Lakes Surgery Center - not at a hospital, and incredibly, I was able to walk out of the surgery center using a walker just a few hours after the operation. The technique utilized is characterized by small incisions that bypass large and problematic incisions that would result in increased swelling. As a result, the swelling from the operation was minimal and reduced the potency of pain medication required. By end of the second week, I no longer had a need for any pain medication. Both the home nurses and physical therapy folks that have conducted home visits have all commented on the small incisions and how quickly I have been able to recover. One physical therapist commented "Dr. Chadha has perfected his technique". I am grateful to Dr. Chadha for his professionalism and for the technique that he utilized to replace my hip.

Dr. Chadha performed the SUPERPATH hip replacement on both of my hips this year, 5 months apart. I am in my 50's, teach yoga, and am amazed at how quickly I was able to return to normal life and my practice. Dr Chadha is an expert in this less invasive, more athletic type of hip replacement. His surgical scheduler, Nicole, is also incredibly helpful in the surgical process.

Absolutely horrible. No aftercare, I am basically disabled 5 years later. It was bad from the beginning and only got worse. DO NOT USE HIM FOR ANYTHING!! He does not care about his patients. He left me with a pinched nerve from the surgery that has left me with numbness in surgery leg and constant chronic pain. He has ruined my life. If I could give him no stars I would.

I've been suffering with a bad rt. hip for 10 yrs. Several friends have had hip replacements with bad results, so I was hesitant. A close friend recommended Dr. Chadha. His down to earth and friendly approach was great. He explained his new method for hip replacements with its very short down time, no restrictions & a small incision. 3 other doctors said I would be down 2 to 3 months with restrictions like never crossing your legs again. Plus the large incision had a higher possibility of infection. Having type 2 diabetes infections are a concern. As I was awaiting my surgery my friend Chuck told me he was scheduled to have a hip replacement the day after mine was scheduled. I told Chuck about this new method but he wanted to stay with his doctor'. After my surgery, I was walking w/o a walker 2 days after surgery. The physical therapist was surprised how quickly I recovered & back at work in 2 wks. after 4 wks I had 0 pain. After 6 wks Chuck finally got off his walker.

I was admitted to Sharp Memorial Hospital following medevac from Cabo San Lucas with a broken leg. Dr. Chada was the ortho surgeon on duty and I found him to be highly professional, exuding great confiidence, and with a "matter of fact" attitude that appealed to me. He has great skills and knowledge and I had no reluctance at all in deciding to have him perform the surgery I required.

This is the worst doctor ever. I had SuperPath hip replacement & absolutely no care from him. It has been a life altering NIGHTMARE. He is being investigated now, horrible human being & should loose his privileges. Incompetent & then blames his staff. Liar to the medical director to try & cover his incompetence. Abdoned care & have been left disabled. Horrible horrible person. Worst physician I've ever encountered & have documentation & witnesses to support all my comments. BEWARE. No stars

I had my hip replaced by Dr. Chadha almost two years ago at the age of 50. He specialized in a newer technique called SUPERpath, this kept my down time and post surgery pain to a minimum. I have had two acquaintances go in for hip replacements since having mine done, both with the same success. I cannot recommend Dr. Chadha enough.
