Dr. Harini Jalagani, MD

Dr. Jalagani is one of the most thorough physicians I've ever known, and I am a retired nurse! Her mannerisms reflect her country of origin - India. If that is a problem for you, find another doctor. I'm sure those of us who appreciate her expertise and thoroughness would appreciate someone who doesn't click with her not taking up appointment slots. She takes excellent care of me and several friends & family members, and is totally worth any office wait time! She is fantastic!

I was in an exam room waiting for the doctor? for 1 hour. I could hear her in the adjacent room talking to a patient for that entire hour. I decided to leave, but as an opened the door she was there with her lap top. She never apologized nor seemed interested in my situation. She spent 5 - 10 curt minutes with me. I will not be going back nor would I recommend her to anyone.

Dr Jalagani is very thorough and caring. She takes time to answer my questions and I feel fortunate to have her treating my thyroid and pre diabetic conditions. Although some of the staff is not overly welcoming, they are efficient and overall helpful.

Dr Jalagani has been my Dr fot many years. She is kind but can be brash. She has gotten my A1c down from a 13 to 5.9 though. I have seen other endocrinologist and none could help me do that. My issue is with her staff. One argued about my deductible being met after my insurance had informed me. And it is impossible to get someone on the phone for appointments.

She is very caring , she listens to all your concerns and together with you , works out a plan . She is the only MD in her practice, so you get to see the same doctor each visit . My A1C and thyroid have never been as good as it has been since seeing her .

Dr Jalagani is very condescending. She is not interested in treating patients with conservative management. I went to Dr. Jalagani as a new patient for graves diease. Within minutes of my initial evaluation she mentioned I needed to have surgery to just remove my thyroid. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor as a new patient. She is very unprofessional and argumentative. I will not be back.

My issue is with the hours. I can be scheduled for an 8:30am appointment, get there and the door is still locked. When they finally open the door, I am first in line and sign in but other patients get called before me. They also close very early on Thursdays. I tried to call about 3:30pm and the recording says they close at 1:30pm. I called about 4pm one day and get a recording that says the phones forward to the answering service at 4pm. How are you suppose to get questions answered when they don't open the doors on time and are never available by phone? I can't drive to Rome or Marietta and this is the only doctor in my network in my area.

Awesome Doctor. Really kind and understanding. Listened to all of my questions. Ran all the right tests. Highly recommend.

Doctor Jalagani has been my endocrinologist since 2015. She has helped me manage my thyroid disorder and my PCOS. It might be a lengthy office visit but I know it’s because she’s always so thorough with myself and her other patients. She’s closely monitored me during my pregnancy and has always taken a personal interest. She listens and made a plan with me not just for me!

Very pleasant, listens to me, and she is very thorough. I would recommend her.

Dr. Jalagani has been my endocrinologist since 2011. She is always very pleasant, takes time to listen to me, is very knowledgeable and answers my questions. I feel she genuinely cares about her patients and I would recommend her.

In truth, I have never ever dealt with a doctor like Dr. Jalagani. My husband has been a Type 1 diabetic since he was 19 years old. When we first visited her, she changed ALL of his insulin prescriptions without telling. So when we went to pick them up and the pharmacist (whom has filled his medications for years) questioned them, we called and she stated that is what she decided to do. I took my to children in last week to see this doctor. I have to say, her Indian background leaves a lot to be desired. Her personal skills with my children was pretty bad. She was condescending and was not interested in discussing in any detail what was going on with my kids. She seemed more interested in just rushing me out the door. I felt like she was reaching for any explanations and was trying to cover up the fact she was just not a very good or personable doctor. I'm not going back!

Just Terrible! Completely unprofessional. Argumentative, and unable to professionally discuss my symptoms and possible resolutions. How is this person even allowed to "practice" medicine at all? Highly *NOT* recommended!

The ladies up front are very nice, the nurse is extremely rude and unfriendly. Doctor doesn't listen and only wants you to get the test done that she thinks you need and won't do anything else. She doesn't listen to your concerns or questions and thinks its her way or no way. She is extremely closed minded and only believes in prescribing you medicine.
