I've been dealing with musculoskeletal issues for a couple of years now due to me having a sedentary job. I had an MRI done in the past which showed nothing major and been going to physical therapy. My PCP referred me to a pain management doctor because my quality of life is down the drain due to the immense amount of pain I'm in and PT apparently isn't doing much. The staff was nice however, I was right away taken into a room to take my vitals right after check-in and was left there for about 20 mins until the doctor came in to see me but that didn't happen. I was switched to another room for another 20 minutes or so and I started to experience pain from sitting so started stretching till he came in. The doctor didn't have a rude tone or anything but he pretty much said based on my last MRI, everything seems pretty normal and only if something seemed abnormal, he may be able to inject something into my spinal cord to alleviate the pain but I don't have any spinal issues. My problem is muscular. He kept on talking really fast and I felt rushed out and uncomfortable to the point where I started to grab my belongings slowly and ended up leaving and said he wishes he could have helped me but based on the information he was looking at, there was nothing he could do on his end other than tell me to continue physical therapy. I have never felt so helpless in my life since we rely on doctors for these types of issues. I told her I'll figure out what I'll do with my life about this issue but I'm walking out of here the same way I walked in as he had no type of help for me. I went back to my PCP the same day and he at least did the best he could and prescribed some muscle relaxers in the meantime. THIS IS THE WORSE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. My doctor couldn't believe he couldn't even give me a note for work which I needed also for a reasonable accommodation but what does Dr. Singh care? I just walked away. Will go to another pain management doctor who will offer the help I need for my PAIN.
