Dr. Harold Akin, MD

I would not recommend him at all Dr. did the same test 7 times and received a different reading each time. He stated that I had accommodating spasms and he needed time to review the results and he would mail me his recommendation as to whether a new prescription would help or not, but off the top of his head he didn't think it would help because of my eyes not focusing. He sent me the prescription stating no rx change at this time and a definition of what accommodating spasms were since I did not know what that meant and on that document he put a personal note stating he did not think that I would be able to get permanent disability because of the spasms. I told him that it was not his decision to make that, that decision would be made by disability. When disability called him to get more information he told them that I was faking the results and I had insisted that I had spasms diagnosed by a previous eye dr. so my disability was denied because he lied.
