Thank You Dr Faraz
I met Dr Faraz in the ER when I was having a massive heart attack. He was calm and listened to me. He took me into the Cath Lab where He saw that my LAD Artery (widowmaker) was 100% blocked. He performed a Stent and I am alive today to write this review. He was extremely knowledgeable and I am very fortunate he was on call the day I walked into the ER with chest pain. I highly recommend him

A+++++ Dr. Faraz saved my life. I will be forever grateful to him! He is an amazing doctor!! Dr. Faraz is very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very caring. He explains his treatment, test results, etc. very carefully and very patiently. He explains options when necessary, and also listens very patiently. He has great enthusiasm for his work. You can tell from how he interacts with his interns, and from their opinions of him that they greatly respect him and that he takes his profession very seriously. He studies his craft very thoroughly, and he is on top of new studies and procedures. He has great "bedside manner". He is never rough or condescending. He reassured my family, and explained everything, making sure to answer any questions that they had. It has now been two and a half years since my heart attack, and Dr. Faraz continues to be a committed, involved and caring doctor. I can't recommend him strongly enough - Dr. Faraz is a star in his field!!

Dr. Faraz, while thorough, does not consider the medical history of the patient. Also, he calls for tests the patient may not be reasonably physically capable of completing. Two examples: I am a 350 lb man, and he wanted to conduct a cardiac stress test; the test is rated for people who weigh a maximum of 250 lbs. Further, while conducting a Doppler of my legs, his staff discovered a network of blood clots and a DVT in my left leg. This is not the first DVT or blood clotting one has experienced. I experienced prior incidents in 2016, and 2018. Apparently my medical history was of no interest to the good doctor, and he refused to assist me in preparing a document for a remote accommodation. Further, he totally ignored anything I might have mentioned about my workplace being a death trap. Avoid this man, unless you have a basic heart condition.

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Faraz attend to me when I had a major heart attack in Oct of 2019. His attention to my needs were absolutely amazing. He is not only an extremely adept doctor, but his bedside manner is non judgmental, very interesting, as well as educational. He also suggested that I go into a focus group with Dr. Landers, another fantastic doctor. I am always put at ease with any questions which may arise. I trust him implicitly, to the point where my sister is now seeing him on my recommendation.

Dr. Faraz is an execptional cardiologist. He listens intently to patient questions and concerns, explains medical issues very well and asks intelligent, probing questions about patient symptoms and responses to treatment. He is the most accessible doctor I have ever had. I have been able to reach him in the middle of the night with concerns and received critical information. He is also friendly and genuinely cares about each patient, and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Faraz is an exceptional cardiologist. Super smart and super friendly. I have been his patient for about four years. My father also sees him. He spends a lot of time talking to you and gives very helpful advice. He clearly cares about his patients. I know several people in the medical field that also go to him and they feel the same way. We are lucky to have him as our heart doctor!!

Dr. Faraz is my mother's Cardiology doctor. My mother is 89 years old with a lot of Medical problems, diabetic, heart problem and also in dialysis etc. I was so worry about her that I thought I'm going to lose her. She had such a bad circulation in in her left leg and it was so painful that she cannot even stand. Her toe was getting black spot and bleeding all over as of result of not circulation on the leg. I thought she is going to lose her toe since she is diabetic. Thanks to Dr. Faraz that did procedure to clean her vein my mom's circulation is improving now and she is not going to loose her toe. Im very happy to have Dr. Faraz in my mom's life, he save her. I trust him, he is a very knowledgeable and caring Dr. In addition he can be reached at any time through his cell phone and he is also checking up on her. Dinorah Cruz - August 18, 2020

in March 2018 I had a cardiac event that led me to the ER. Dr. Faraz treated me in the hospital and has been my cardiologist since then. in addition to literally saving my life, he has been an invaluable and trusted partner in my recovery and rehabilitation. Despite having a wealth of knowledge and well-formed opinions, he will always maintain an open mind and listen to other ideas. And he is happy to explain his approach to a situation or procedure in a way that doesn’t require an MD. So yes, I’d strongly recommend him to anyone in need of a clear-eyed, up-to-date approach to their cardiovascular care.

Dr. Faraz is as fine a doctor as he is a person. I feel he is sincerely interested in my total well-being. While under his care, I have never felt that he had anything other than my best interests at heart. I trust his judgment and advice completely. There should be more physicians like Dr. Faraz.

I have been a Patient of Dr Faraz for almost 4 years now. My first meeting with him was quite by accident. I was working at HUMC and 2 nurses spotted something looking just not right with me. Dr Faraz was sitting there and they turned to him and said Dr Faraz “Take a look at this guy” After a quick exam within 30 seconds he had me in a wheelchair and he ran me down to The ER himself. Turns out I had a very serious issue with my heart. If not for Dr Faraz’s expertise I very well might not be here to be writing this review. I now see him every 6 months. My visits With Dr Faraz are professional, reassuring and thorough. He takes whatever time we need and explains everything to me in language I can understand. I wouldn’t consider seeing another Cardiologist as long as seeing him is an option

Dr. Faraz is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He performed an emergency catherization on my father and was a strong advocate for his TAVR valve. He was part of my father's TAVR valve surgery team. Since my father has been under his care he has been doing remarkably well. Dr. Faraz spends quality time with you at each visit and is very thorough. I highly recommend him.

Dr Faraz is a top doc among doctors. Being a physician myself I found myself powerless after my mother suffered a cardiac arrest. He was calm and thorough and was quick to think outside of the box and able to use an impella device which has been rarely used for condition my mom had. Luckily he was on call that day and was experienced in using this device. He did this while my mother went into a second cardiac arrest and was able to bring her back to life. We were not only lucky that he was on call but that he had the prior experience to do this procedure. My mom was in the ICU for 16 days and he was there every day. His bedside manner is impecable and he has a way to connect with people that is truly a gift. I highly recommend him and will be forever grateful for everything he did for my family.
