The DANGER OF Tangled in The Red Tape of Rules
Our 1st visit was informative, 2017(ish). Mom was showing signs of dementia, little signs. Fast forward to late 2022, early 2023...I discovered Mom was not and had not taken any of her medication for 18 months. I called to make an appointment because she was in critical need of help. Appointment could not be made. I BEGGED, telling the staff mom was in critical need of an appointment. My pleading for help fell on deaf ears....due to their 'rules.' Sept 2023, mom suffers her 4th major stroke. Hospital, Rehab, and follow-up visits filled our next few weeks. FINALLY, appt. allowed BUT not until Jan 2024. Appt day, confirmed 3x's, did the online check in. Head to the appointment and arrive 20 minutes early, HOWEVER, the office had moved. I immediately called their '#' and centralized scheduling answers and describes the new building as large and connected to the hospital. NOT TRUE. Arrived 13 minutes late, they refused to see her. RULES state 10min. Dana called & blamed me.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Nagaraja recently. He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem we are dealing with. Found him to be extremely pleasant, professional and warm to both the patient and myself. He discussed our diagnosis in a way we both understood, and was very compassionate about what we face. He assured us he'd be there to answer any questions/concerns we may have. While we didn't get news we were hoping for, we left feeling good about our choice in physician and his staff.
