Dr Moss is the best. He has provided my eyecare since 2012. He recently performed cataract surgery on me on both eyes. I have always had difficulty with my prescription due to amblyopia and a lazy eye. He has always worked with me on deciding the best approach to my eyecare and has done an amazing job. I was nervous going into surgery as I assume most patients are; he and his staff made it easy pre and post op. Dr Moss has an excellent chairside manner, he explains everything clearly in a way that is easy to understand and I feel makes the patient part of the process. I am now free of glasses after 65 years. I highly recommend him. I would not trust my eyecare to anyone else. He and his staff are simply the best.

Quick but thorough
Dr Moss confirmed my diagnosis of Fuchs Corneal Dystrophy but said it is mild, with plus 1 guttata. So I do not need to continue with ointment unless I am bothered. He and his staff were great - quick and professional but did not rush me along. He asked several times if I had more questions. I am grateful for the clarification of the diagnosis and recommendations for the future.

I was so very nervous for my appointment on 1/27/22. It was a very pleasant visit, everyone from the receptionist to the techs were AMAZING. Before they did anything to my eyes they explained in detail what was going to be done. Dr Moss is very informative about procedures. Needless to say I don not have to have surgery which was my main concern. This staff is excellent in pateint care. Thank you to all who were involved with my visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get great care.

Four doctors in Virginia and Maryland identified that my first cornea transplant was rejecting. Each of them told me that I would need to have another transplant done immediately. All four doctors said that they did not feel comfortable performing the surgery. I was literally in a never ending loop with the same results. I decided to go on vacation and see my in-laws in Milwaukee, WI. While I was there, I ended up in the emergency room due to eye pain and other visual concerns. The very next day I was seen by Dr. Moss and he said yes, after conducting a few exams. He was nothing like any other Doctor I have met. He was extremely thorough, precise, smart, honest, intelligent and every other good word that you can pull from the dictionary. He stepped up when I was in an emotional wreck. Here I am, a couple weeks after surgery, now seeing better than could ever dream of asking for. Thank you for everything!!! Thomas Jackson

Dr Moss was wonderful. He listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. He explained that I am not ready for surgery yet, but I should return next year for follow up. He is very knowledgeable and caring. Kelly, the optician is amazing. She was very thorough and personable. She made me feel comfortable. You could see she loves her job and is very good at it. The wait time was long, however I brought a book, so I didn’t mind. The office was a little chaotic because of Covid guidelines, however they were the best they could be under the circumstances.

If anyone is looking for a doctor to do their catract surgery I highly recommend Dr. Moss. He did my surgery at the end of 2019 . Based on his consultation I choose to go with toric lens for astigmatism and my eyes ended up 20/20 on both eyes. What I didn't know, till reading about now, is that there is added difficulty when implanting the toric lens. From reading about them they say they must be positioned just right or you could get blurry vision. I feel that Dr. Moss is probably more skilled than I, really knew. He also has great communication skills and you don't feel talked down to like you do with some gifted doctors. Wanted to add that everyone I dealt with at Opthalmology and Associates on Loomis were professional and gave good information.

Dr. Moss knew my medical history and gave me a thorough exam before rendering a diagnosis. He described my condition in a way that I could clearly understand it and said that he would provide a detailed report to my primar6y care physician. When arriving at the office, I was seen promptly yet not rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Moss for ophthalmology related issues.

Dr. Moss is a fantastic doctor and a wonderful person.  He is kind, caring, and patient, and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, to answer any questions you have, and to address all of your concerns. I've had cataract surgery with Dr. Moss on both eyes, and in both cases the surgery went perfectly.  I had a new type of lens called the Tecnis Symfony implanted, and I now have excellent uncorrected distance and reading vision.  I was obviously very fortunate, but also have no doubt that my results have much to do with Dr. Moss' skill as a surgeon and willingness to go to extreme measures to address my dry eye problems prior to surgery. Overall, I give Dr. Moss and the staff at Ophthalmology Associates my highest possible recommendation.  I wish all physicians were as skilled as Dr. Moss and cared as much about the happiness and well-being of their patients as he does his.

I feel fortunate to have had my higher risk/ more challenging cataract surgery done by Dr. Moss. Great outcome! Due to an inherited condition, both lenses were dislocated nasal side & weakly held elsewhere. No one in the Aurora network had the skill set to deal with it. I was examined at the local medical college by 2 eye surgeons. I gave up after 5 unsuccessful attempts to schedule the surgery with them. Dr. Moss is outstanding surgeon with superior patient and people skills!

Dr. Moss is the best! Both my husband and I see him. My husband was having double vision misdiagnosed by another MD. Dr. Moss found he had cataracts which he removed . The first doctor prescribed contacts which didn't correct the problem and so we searched for a second opinion. His vision was corrected by Dr. Moss. I even recommend him to my patients. I am an RN.

I have to admit, when I first met Dr. Moss I thought to myself "This guy is no way a doctor, let alone a surgeon." He looks like a 13 year old boy in a nice suit! I was truly impressed with his knowledge, experience and reassurance about all of my concerns. He understood how nervous I was having eye surgery, he showed genuine concern and put my mind to ease. Surgery was a success!! I forgot how vibrant the world is, I couldn't be happier with Dr. Moss. To top it off, he sent me a plant.

Doctor Moss patiently explained the problem, symptoms, diagnosis, prognosis recommendations etc and spent as much time as needed to make sure I fully understood them. He was very thorough in analyzing my vision situation and recommended that I get a cataract surgery. I am so glad I went to Dr. Moss because I am able to restore the proper vision I lost in one eye where I could not read boards and signs on the road let alone a news paper or computer screen.
