Ischemic Colitis, patient at Nassau Baptist
Dr Phillips diagnosed me with ischemic colitis on July 28th while recovering at Nassau Baptist on Amelia island. My GI doctor at Mayo would not have ordered a angiogram if it wasn’t for Dr Phillips. He was so right and saved me a lot of pain. I didn’t need colon surgery, I needed vascular surgery on a major artery. Thank you so much, Dr Phillips

Fantastic Physician
I saw Dr. Phillips in 2016 and he performed an endoscopy on me due to Barretts Esophagus. He is brilliant and highly skilled. More importantly he has an incredible bedside manner which is rare. He is patient, funny, answers questions and cares about his patients. Unfortunately, I had to see another physician in 2021 who did not share Dr. Phillips qualities. I wish I had been able to see Dr. Phillips, but he was very busy because he is in high demand. I will be back to see him. Ask for Dr. Phillips at Borland Grooved and you will do great.

Dr. Phillips spent a lot of time with me to address my symptoms and concerns. Not only was he very nice to me but he was humorous and this helped lower my anxiety. He ordered a stool culture, which my doctor in Wilmington, NC, had never bothered to do. As a result, before I got to Dr. Phillips I have been infected with Clostridium Difficile in my intestines for over two years! Thanks to Dr. Phillips the correct diagnosis was made and now I am taking Vancamycin for four weeks to clear it up.

He found issues from a routine colonoscopy that would have caused big issues later. He was very honest and transparent concerning all my treatment including the procedure and cost. I never felt he was rushed or too busy to answer my questions.

Dr Phillips is the best. If you need him he is there and he will figure out your problem no matter how long it takes. I think it means something when a nurse can recommend a dr and I highly recommend him!!!!
