Dr. Hassan Abouhouli, MD

Too many issues with appointments, medications, and follow-ups to list. Nurse Practitioner told us our 'care plan' last Thursday. It is now Wed. and we still do not have the meds. Have called 4 times. Meds changed. Instructions not called in correctly so pharmacy won't fill. Was told follow up in 4 months, but today saying 4 weeks. When I've called in, the receptionist is rude. They have no after hours on-call, so on Friday evening we were out of luck until Monday. Poor service.

Dr. Abouhouli and his team are very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. During one of the hardest times in my life, Dr. Abouhouli and Kallie were there with exceptional care for my mom. They were also able to have the hard conversations while still keeping mom's best interest in the forefront. I will be forever grateful for not only their service to us, but their compassion during a difficult time.

I've had COPD for over 20yrs (diagnosed 2001, now stage 4 VERY severe) & many pulmonologists address it with many different approaches. When my last Dr retired (head of OU Respiratory Dept) I was faced with the inevitable disappointment of 'settling' for 2nd best in my lung care... until I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Hassan Abouhouli! He is by far the finest Dr one could hope for on all fronts in my humble opinion, & his skill set is 2nd to none, superior to most (among other skills he is a Zephyr Valve specialist which, being relatively new to the US, I've found few other Dr's/pulmonologists have even heard of). He's been my Dr for 2yrs now & his staff are knowledgeable, caring, patient & efficient, all with a great bedside manner. His connections with, arguably, the best hospital in Tulsa & associated specialists has enabled him to provide me with a new better quality of life... I HIGHLY recommend Dr, Hassan Abouhouli! I only I could give him more stars.

Dr Abouhouli and his team are AMAZING!! They went above and beyond to take care of my husband during his recent stay in the hospital. I feel like they fought for us and were also so compassionate. You are told how serious apnea is is and the importance of getting on a CPAP immediately for your health and well-being. They launch you off into the unknown and leave you to fend for yourself when your supplies haven’t come in two months. This is totally ridiculous. The staff was rude, very unhelpful, and unwilling to help me find a solution for obtaining ongoing supplies. They know how to smile and say next patient please and push you out the door. After 2+ months trying to find a solution to obtaining supplies for my CPAP. I am no closer. They are unhelpful and tell me to wait. I have remained cordial, but no longer this practice is not patient oriented. Beware.

This doctor is ugly inside/out. He’s very rude and has a god complex.

My wife has been seen with this Dr ,he has been great very easy going and listening to her questions,she has a long road ahead of her with COPD he has great a helping get her medicine at no charge through AstraZeneca.

The only doctor I trust and rely on with my life and lungs. Doctor and staff is considerate and make sure that you know your health is utmost importance to them. Everything is explained, tests ordered promptly and follow up is done efficiently. Other doctors could take some lessons from this man and his bedside mannerisms and empathy. He gets 6 stars from me. Thank you for your exceptional quality of care. Nursing staff and receptionist, you go above and beyond and could also show others in this profession a lesson or two. Dr. Hassan is very professional and personable. Takes his time and explains information thoroughly. Emily and Erin at the front office are extremely friendly and accommodating. I came in for a breathing test and Betsy made the whole process stress-free. Much better experience than the one I had done at a hospital.

Take THAT UT Southwestern at Dallas. We found a REAL DOCTOR. ???????

A most caring doctor who listens, asks all the questions no one has and then tries to find out what is wrong. He made a plan WITH my husband for his treatment. We, too, followed him to his new practice when he left the old one. His office staff is truly wonderful also!!

Thanks to Dr. Abouhouli my quality of life has undergone a wonderful transformation. After dealing with uncontrolled asthma for well over a year, Dr. Abouhouli came into my life. He was very knowledgable and immediately got me started on the tests that I was needing. He and his staff have worked long and hard to get me to where I am at. I highly recommend him for your pulmonary needs.

My husband and I always enjoy going to see Dr. Abouhouli. Erin, Emily and Betsy are all very nice and helpful. Dr. Abouhouli is very personable and very helpful and knowledgeable about my husband's pulmonary fibrosis. I would recommend him.
